So, what’s up with this song on the MySpace profile for J? I’ve never seen it on an album before, can anyone tell me what it’s from? It’s called Do You Love Me Now (it’s a cover I think) and it’s a duet with some girl.

It`s J with The Breeders.It appeared on the Breeders` Divine Hammer ep.They recorded that song a couple of other times by themselves.I like the part where Kim sings ‘come back to me right now’ and J responds with ‘I dunno know baby’

Is it a Breeders origonal or a cover song?

it’s a Breeders original. it sounds almost exactly like the album version on Last Splash, but with J backup vocals. on a related subject, what does everyone think of the Breeders’ cover of Freed Pig? pure genius, recording a Sebadoh cover with J as the session producer (on the Safari ep, i think).

Yeah the Breeders cover of Freed Pig is cool.It was`nt on the Safari ep,it was on an ep correct(maybe just called The Breeders?) that also included their cover of GBV`s Shocker In Gloomtown.

I knew I’d heard it somewhere! Has anyone else been able to download it from the MySpace profile? The download wouldn’t finish when I tried to do it.

Yeh I just downloaded it, That cover of Freed Pig is on the Head To Toe EP, I never knew that J produced it, thats pretty funny

Ok,Head To Toe it`s called.I think I saw it on 10 inch vinyl about 10 years ago.I probably should have bought it.
