I read on another site that James Iha was playing with Mary Timony recently;thought you be interested in what Iha is up to.
Mary Timony used to be in a band called Helium,she is also in a band with Carrie from Sleater Kinney called The Spells;the connection to Iha might be through Shudder To Think guitarist Nathan Larson,he had a band years ago during Shudder`s hiatus called Mind Science Of The Mind which Mary was part of;since Shudder knew the Pumpkins(Shudder broke up,I found out recently)that might be the link.
There`s some Helium videos at launch.com you can check out to try to imagine what her and Iha would sound like."Superball" is the only one I`ve seen,so I suggest that one.

Thanks, Salami, but most in thre Pumpkins community believe this to be a rumour. A lot of California Pumpkins fans payed ridiculous ammounts for tickets to a club show in LA supposedly headlined by Corgan and Hole frontwoman Courtney Love. Neither showed…

Could you post a link to the site with the Iha report? If ticketmaster backs it up, it’s prolly real then.

I read it at Throwingmusic.com which is Kristin Hersh`s site,don`t bother checking it out,their message board is very active and it`s buried among a ton of other messages.
It said that Timony and Iha performed together at Ladyfest recently,it did happen so it`s not a hoax.
