Hi Forum.
Does anyone know what J sings on the last line of “Every Morning”?
This is what I have:
J Mascis - "Every Morning" INSTR. G Am C G X2 G Am C G Set up in the morning Running in the afternoon G Am C G Stayed out past the morning Someone peeled it off too soon G Am C G Every morning makes it hard on me Every morning makes it hard on me G Am C G Then I wake to who I'll never be Then it hits me it's the life I lead INSTR. G Am C G X2 G Am C G Set up in the morning Said I gave away too soon G Am C G Wish I had a morning Didn't know what else to do G Am C G Every morning makes it hard on me Piece together what could never be G Am C G In the wait I heard you'll never see Give it up Why can't we always be? D C Oh baby won't you see me? D C Oh baby won't you see me? Am See me G Am C G BREAK Every morning makes it hard on me Every morning makes it hard on me G Am C G Then I wake to who I'll never be And it hits me it's the life I lead INSTR. G Am C G X2 D C Oh baby won't you see me? D C Oh baby won't you see me? Am See me G Am C G Ain't nobody know it Ain't nobody know it G Am C G Ain't nobody know it Ain't nobody know it G Am C G Every morning makes it hard on me Every morning makes it hard on me G Am C G Then I wake to who I'll never be And it hits me it's the life I lead G Am C G Every morning makes it hard on me Every morning makes it hard on me G Am C G Try to give you something I can't be Try to miss you made it hard on me INSTR. G Am C G X2September 25, 2014 at 4:17 am #230367i don’t know. There’s already a line you posted thru the tab.
that I never knew…..
except I read on captions nobody “no” in. . I’m thinking
it’s not “stay out past the warning” but if you’re asking
about the last line, it’s “trouble gets me and its hard on me”September 25, 2014 at 11:16 am #230368Super thanks for your kind swift reply kerbdogma. Yes, I’m asking about the very last line.
“Try to miss you made it hard on me” is just guess work from me. I kinda just made up something there.
“Trouble gets me and it’s hard on me” sounds right. And makes more sense than my made up line. Do you know for certain that this is right?
Most of your answer I do not fully understand.
What captions are your referring to?
Why did you write “it’s not “stay out past the warning””? I didn’t write the word warning anywhere.
Very thankful if you would also fill me in on the parts of your answer I’m not able to grasp. Certainly seems you have great insight here. This is just what I need to play and sing the whole song right.

As for yer 2nd question. It was the FOD (funnyordie.com) that ran captions and it said ain’t nobody” no” in.
I’m not sure this is the last line. I thought the 2nd line was “stay out past the warning or “”””go to park to walk at night:::::.”””””””””””””””””
no, there is no insight just trying to answer you. How important is the last line, well you’d have to go to jmascis.com. I’m not the singer.
September 25, 2014 at 7:50 pm #230370Ah. I found the CC now. Here: http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/441ee0b613/j-mascis-every-morning. Fantastic.
The reason the lyrics are so important to me is because I want to do a cover.
I didn’t find any lyrics at jmascis.com. For any song. Does that site really have lyrics?
Thanks again for the extra explanation. I understand now. You’ve been of very great help.
September 25, 2014 at 11:06 pm #230372no lyrics sleeve, no site lyrics. Do you think? It depends
on you gear, but any line you’d like to use is fine with me.
are you going post it

September 26, 2014 at 2:08 pm #230374I’m talking about the “every morning” cover.
I couldn’t give a hoot about your music without some
information (my pc works like 56k). Is it Metal, Melodic,
Trancient…rock? pop? blues? But yeah I’d like to hear the
song with some drums too. I don’t get the Cloud, still trying
to get my LP bundle order of J mp3s.I might try to sing the new song, but should I use a muff?????
Do you know how to work the Amazon rip : sometimes they’re free
with lps too?-

September 26, 2014 at 6:35 pm #230379I meant: Yes, I will be posting the “Every Morning” cover on SoundCloud.
I do mostly singer / songwriter. Acoustic guitar with English vocals. In mono.
I program backing-tracks for live use. Then it sounds like some kinda indie rock I guess.
If you mean a muff for your microphone, probably no. Those are used outdoors when by TV reporters and the likes, for taking care of heavy wind. In a studio one uses a pop filter. These take a bit off of the heavy air pressure in sounds like for instance the letter P.
I hadn’t heard of Amazon rip, so I googled and found this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201377450. My guess is the come only with CDs. I wouldn’t use it, as it seems to only support the lossy MP3 format. I suggest using the FLAC format instead.
September 26, 2014 at 7:15 pm #230380I meant the Double Muff effect pedal …I agree would have rather had a big disc change than a computer.. CDS are PROB the best…..Though I could do any song with it. ….xmas is coming oh well. But if the P were to have pressure why would that make you hops? haha.
Flacs outdated too.
I think it is LP at Armageddon is where the deals will be.
September 26, 2014 at 7:27 pm #230381I meant the Double Muff effect pedal
Oh. 😉 I know very little about those.
Flacs outdated too.
It’s loss-less at least. In what ways do you feel it is outdated? Do you know of a format you feel is better?
September 27, 2014 at 6:40 am #230382That’s very nice 🙂
I just think the whole digital thing is going
be eliminated whenever the people get their time
back. When they see the trouble Digital Media has aided.
Of course I have no record stores where I leave…but I’m still
anti-mp3 FLAC (as far as I know this is for Torrent Files which are
usually live) If you can post some of you lyrics
That’d be awesome (as I always quit listening to songs if they mention
the word better.)tony

September 27, 2014 at 1:32 pm #230384FLAC was and is extremely popular with live recordings. But it is intended for more or less everything.
All my lyrics, chords, etc. are on my site: http://flamencopeko.net
I apologize in advance, should any of the lyrics include that word be**er.
September 27, 2014 at 6:40 pm #230385Nothing fit me if you follow the Tony’s Theme Pixies song, which we don’t right.
I could not get any of your songs to load. I have DSL. Any lyric s is fine with me.
DSL load quicker than 56k. but it doesn’t. I just put m double muff up, the guitar
I pay now already has too much, -
