quote:
and of course J’s new one Free so Free

                Allison

Seriously? I mean, I’m just about as excited as you are about the new album, but I can’t say I’m impressed by its title. In fact, I think it might be the first weak title J has ever produced. Most of his titles are fine, while "You’re living all over me" and "Where you been" stand out as two of the best titles in the history of pop music. But "Free So Free"? Come on. It sounds like it could be a — craptastic — new Paul McCartney album. ("Freedom! I’m talking about freedom! I haven’t written a decent song in decades, but I’m talking about freedom! Freedom!")

Needless to say, I’ll probably have no problem whatsoever with its title as soon as I’ve heard the first notes of "Free So Free."

I think it’s a pun – it actually means free "Sofree" – Sofree Okowunde, the african political prisoner.

I made all of that up – don’t like the title either, but agree with Jaspar – will probably forget the title as soon as I play it.

I think Free So Free is a good title,if J wants to use a freedom theme,it`s cool with me;I don`t get comparing J to McCartney either.
