March 26, 2009 at 5:46 pm #134211It’s more like a slip-n-slide that has a huge rock under it.

March 28, 2009 at 2:23 pm #134215I like way to much music from the 70’s but I did want to say…I thought it would be an interesting topic….my kids are blown away by the way we lived our lives in the 70’s and on into the 80’s, I did four years of college without a computer………I wrote lots of papers….research and all…with only a typewriter….I think I remember getting to use a word processer in my last year of college at the library or something like that. My daughter asked me "How is that possible…how could you do your school work without a computer?" My favorite also is those big road trips with like three or four cars and we were all on our way to Florida and we had no cell phones. I remember coming into Jacksonville on (what is that HWY 95) and there were three cars of us and we were all going about 85 MPH and then we hit this accident that happened right at some huge construction area and we all split off in three directions…..we were following each other…only the lead car had directions to where we were going and it took us like three hours before we all reconnected…How we did what we did without all of our tools.
April 3, 2009 at 11:27 am #134216It is amazing how much life has changed in such a short period of time.
Actually I still don’t have a cell phone. Well, I did for a brief period when someone bought one for me but I always forgot to take it with me and never checked my messages so I think I am better served without one.Ooooh! Do you know who I thought of? Blondie ~ Parallel Lines And Bob Dylan! Though I prefer his 1960’s releases much more. Oh music, you’ve ruined and saved my life.
