November 26, 2009 at 4:18 am #137015Registered!
There’s also someone selling the Jazzmaster at ebay. It’s sold in pieces and every piece got the starting bid $0,99. It could be a really cheap one.
November 29, 2009 at 9:44 pm #137016I think that is so going to be mine….

November 30, 2009 at 12:13 pm #137017I am who’s should it be. I hope I win. Good luck to all of you.
December 1, 2009 at 5:32 am #137018Honestly, I owned the guitar for a little bit and even after being "set up", the strings still slipped off the saddles and the locking trem wasnt set up either, hell, the guy I paid to do it sucked i guess
Anyways, I sold the JM Jazzmaster and bought a strat…love it much more. The jumbo frets seemed to be a help in some cases, like playing an F in the shape of a C like J does, but it was hard for me to not bend the strings out of pitch
Still, a free Jazzmaster is nothing to shun. Not paying $700 leaves you with more flexibility and cash to upgrade with.
December 1, 2009 at 9:07 am #137019Thanks for posting this! I totally registered and I hope I win! I really hope a fan and guitar player wins this though. A lot of people enter contests just to win stuff and sell it on EBAY.
I had a 1995 reissue Jazzmaster. I sold it six years ago. The strings didn’t fall off the saddles, but it sure was an involved process keeping it set up. The screws would move constantly changing the height. If I won this, I would cherish it and totally play it!
December 1, 2009 at 12:36 pm #137020How cool. Good luck to everyone entering because I honestly hope someone from Freak Scene gets it.
April 12, 2010 at 8:36 am #137021As predicted the winner sold the contest guitar on ebay and I picked it up.
Back into the hands of a pure fan. Justice is served. I am the swordmaster!!

That is totally awesome! Wish I knew it was on Ebay! How much did you get it for?
April 19, 2010 at 1:59 pm #137023NICE! I hope you got a good deal on it. These prize straight to ebay people are about as bad as ticket scalpers. Glad it is now in good hands!
April 19, 2010 at 3:04 pm #137024Nice work! I wanted that thing so bad. I’m glad one of us has it! EXCELLENT JOB!!! I saw the photo of the original winner and I knew it was going to either get sold or destroyed within weeks. You know who to PM when you want to part ways with it !!
April 19, 2010 at 8:34 pm #137025Winner lived about 10 minutes from this shop and flipped it through them.
I was very happy with the Buy it Now price.
Thrilled to have it.Loo on his forum said Murph wrote the Dinosaur Jr. Part… cool like the old font.
April 20, 2010 at 9:25 am #137026That’s an excellent price! BTW all Jazzmasters rattle like that. There is something you can buy to make it stop, I forget what its called. It’s what give J his rough edge sounds – ha ha!
