August 30, 2005 at 7:22 pm #112428a download site, like napster and kazaa.
It says I have hits, but I cant even get any of my stuff to show up. There is a pic and a video, but those arent me,,,dont download them as I dont know if they are ok or not.
August 31, 2005 at 8:11 am #112429you don’t really ‘upload’, you just specify the directory on your computer you would like to ‘share’
i dont have bear share, nor would i recommend using it, but those programs are all the same.
you have files on your computer…. you tell the software where they are….. other people download them from you.
look for ‘file sharing configuration’ or ‘tools’ or ‘options’ or press F1 or something like that.
August 31, 2005 at 5:15 pm #112430Got your email. Are you into tech stuff? How’d you do the tour with them on the West coast? I’m totally interested if you don’t mind sharing. By the way, do you have black curly hair? I saw some people that were working with the bands, and they first sat in the back balconey seats and then were up on the stage helping set up the equipment. Do you know many people out here ?

Bearshare as I said is just what I have to work with. I have done everything I should have done and it even says that I have some hits on the Randy Jane stuff, (no downloads just hits). However, when I type in "Randy Jane" it doesnt bring up anything but some Randy Travis – Little Liza Jane, (which is wrong, Vince Gill did that song).Anyone else have Bearshare? or would like to get it long enough to see if R.J. is on there? I can’t see it if we are….anyways…let me know.
R.J.
September 2, 2005 at 1:44 am #112432maybe the program does not allow you to see your own files, only the files of others.
or maybe, more than likely, there are some ports on your computer/firewall you need to open up to allow bearshare to communicate with the outside world.
bearshare uses tcp port 6346
