WOO FREAKIN’ HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STILLERS! LDD, i don’t think the brownies will pose that much of a threat, i’m more worried about possibly playing the jets after that ass wiping they gave the pack yesterday. and to all you bears fans…..my condolences, yinz need a QB in a bad, bad way.
December 31, 2002 at 8:31 am #82125Go Stillers Go, couch is out with a broken leg, their back up kelly holcrom(?sp) has been pretty good. Think you guys can kill them

Rest of the picks for the wild card w/e…
Atlanta over the packers
Jets over Colts
Giants over ninersBEARS went from picking third in the draft to fourth with the niner loss, fine with me…loved seeing them lose
Couple good qb’s out there, hoping we can pick up a free agent qb as well…Griese would be cool with me

December 31, 2002 at 11:57 am #82126allison, although i shed no tears for tim couch, the stillers have historically wiped his ass all over the field in past meetings, i would be happy to see him come her. holcomb, on the other hand, we haven’t really had a good look at, and our secondary looked pretty shaky against the ravens and sloppy jeff blake. man would i love to see a stillers/bucs superbowl.
January 4, 2003 at 12:12 pm #82127Couldn’t believe Ohio Buckeyes won it, but great game all the same. Shame about the rb blowing his knee out right before the draft, thats gotta hurt

So today its Jets on first, Falcons on later…
Couple good games, fingers crossed my predictions come true…atlanta could have a tough time but I just can’t pick the pack

January 4, 2003 at 1:49 pm #82128that game last night was one of the best games i’ve watched in awhile, and i’m pretty happy miami lost. as for the weekend picks: pack over the falcons (sorry allison, i would love to see atlanta win, but i don’t think it’s gonna happen). colts over the jets, SF over the giants, and obviously, STILLERS over the browns by at least 2 touchdowns (to silence all the people poo-pooing about the 2 previous margins of victory).
January 4, 2003 at 2:08 pm #82129it is too bad that McGahee blew out his knee, but he is only a sophomore, so he should be back to Miami for the 2004 season. I also am happy that the Canes lost, I was sick of the "Miami this, Miami that" talk. It was time for someone new to win National Championship.
And I have to agree with wireland, that was one of the greatest football (College or pro) games I have seen in a long time, if not ever..
That game was a great way to get the NFL Wild Card weekend, and my picks are:
Packers
Jets
Giants
SteelersHopefully just ONE of the games this weekend can match the intensity of the Fiesta Bowl.
Carl.
January 5, 2003 at 10:51 am #82130Well neither of the games matched the intensity of the college game so far
That RB tore 3 ligaments, ACL, MCL & PCL…
He was planning on coming out this year, hopefully following surgery & rehab he can get back to where he was…
2-0 on play off games so far this w/e
The colts didn’t even show up, 41-zip for The Jets

Of course my favorite moment of the day came later….packers lose for the 1st time in a play off game at home…think it was a 35 game streak they had going on…
The pack certainly looked like they could have used a week off, hmmmm wonder why they didn’t
Falcons 27 pack 7

Looking forward to the games this afternoon, hoping all goes according to plan….
Go Stillers Go
Go Giants GoAllison

ps just had to mention, a certain BEARS team beat both The Falcons & The Jets this year….
:aliensmile:pps wonder who will be called lucky for winning 12 games this year
January 5, 2003 at 12:07 pm #82131The Jets looked like a super bowl caliber team yesterday, it was amazing how they just destroyed the Colts.
Of course, in this NFL season, next week they could look like the Bengals.

But it is doubtful…Carl.
January 6, 2003 at 8:27 am #82132Came so close to going 4-0
Bad snap for the Giants, if only that guy had downed the ball :slap: Oh well 3-1 isn’t that bad
Unbelievable comebacks yesterday, congrats to our Stillers fans…that was close
To a certain someone…at least you guys won the college title….but YIKES
Favre having a press conference today, rumor is he’s retiring…I’ll believe that when I hear it but….

Looking forward to next week
Allison
January 6, 2003 at 10:34 am #82133thank god I do not bet on football games.. I had no idea what the spreads were, but straight up I would have been 2 – 2.. and I probably would have put the most money of the Packers and would have had my head handed to me..
oh well, now it is divisional round time..
Carl.
January 8, 2003 at 8:27 am #82134favre’s coming back

Good news on that Miami rb that blew out his knee, apparently two ligaments…mcl & acl…torn not three. Still a tough rehab, been there myself, although mine didn’t happen on a football field
Good news is that his family borrowed 20 grand to take out an insurance policy on him in case he got injured & couldn’t return to football something like 2.5 million. Fingers crossed he doesn’t have to cash it in
Picks for the w/e…
Stillers
Bucs
Eagles…this hurts to actually type, I hate the f*#ck+n eagles man:wink:
RaidersShould be a good w/e for football

Allison
January 11, 2003 at 12:36 pm #82135Game Day Peoples!! Don’t know why, but i have a feeling the stillers are gonna blow the titans out.
January 11, 2003 at 2:57 pm #82136Soooo looking forward to the games

I have that same feeling Wireland

Go Stillers Go
