Nope, GO STEELERS GO! Big Monday night match-up. Steelers are 2 1/2 point favorites AT New England. If I was a betting man I wouldn’t touch that one. ‘Skins looked good, Rams did not. ‘Canes look AWESOME again in the college ranks.
September 9, 2002 at 10:20 pm #81729Should be a wicked game, looking for The Steelers to beat the spread
Go BEARS Go after tonites game thou
I think I’m losing my mind, I actually entered a contest to win a package deal to see The BEARS & Green Bay on MNF…catch is I would have to meet bon jovi at half time If I win, think I’ll bring some Dinosaur Jr, J and Hellacopters for them

September 10, 2002 at 10:58 am #81730Rough night for Steelers fans last night. Didn’t really get into it here, but there have been rumblings around town that the hype this year might not come to fruition on the field. Bettis may or may not be close to the end, and their O doesn’t do well when they HAVE to pass. Could be a long season. Only bright lining is the Stillers got their asses handed to them in the first game last year. Can’t wait to go home and hear people yell in a few weeks.

BEARS go to Atlanta next, we just about killed michael vick last time Hoping our D is pissed about their lack of run defense against the vikings, they better show up this week!!!

September 10, 2002 at 1:09 pm #81732The Lions swung Harrison because we sucked and got to draft him. Had we sucked a little more, we could have swung Carr.
Also, I’m not a Washington fan, and I hate Spurrier, but the Skins are going to win 10, minimum.

September 10, 2002 at 9:17 pm #81733Yeah, they looked really good. Not a ‘Skins fan either, but living in the DC area I am forced to watch them. At least they have PSU’s own LaVar Arrington and are pretty fun to watch. Would suck to move to Cincinnatti and be forced to watch the Bungles every week.

What really sucks is that if you like college football, all we get are ACC and Big East games. September 11, 2002 at 12:23 am #81950
quote:
Originally posted by Long Distance Drunk:

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but after the Cowboys pathetic showing, I was feeling a little down.
I completely understood your post, and knew you weren’t accusing me of dissing the Bears. This post may make no sense at this point, but I felt that you desrved a response.
Good luck with your Bears! I’l still be pulling for my Cowboys, but my excitement and optimism are gone.
