Lions won "Battle of Freakscene V: Oh, Dear God, We’re Running Out Of Subtitles For These Things" 12-10. What a snoozefest!
November 11, 2003 at 2:11 pm #94173It definitely wasn’t an exciting game, think I fell asleep @ one point

A Train, who has been on a wicked running streak, BEARly got the ball in the 1st half…

Wish we had some soft games coming up, we have St Louis, Minnesota, Denver, Green Bay & Kansas…we may not win another game

Another disappointment, Jim McMahon ex BEAR qb, arrested for dui in Florida, blew 3x the legal limit. Got out of his truck & said I’m too drunk you got me
Jerk, he’s very lucky he didn’t kill anyone, reported to be swerving into oncoming traffic, passing on the inside…
Go BEARS Go, we can beat the Rams in Chicago, sure we can
November 11, 2003 at 3:36 pm #94174Bad news from the Stats Office:

68-44 : 112 games (8 rounds of 14) : 68/112 * 100 = 60.7%
That’s on my calculator, with no wine used (yet….
)PS. 76-51: 127 games (strange amount): 76/127 * 100 = 59.8% : …must have been a good wine…
(…or I could make a nasty remark about women and exact sciences here, but dB is too much a gentleman for that…..
)November 14, 2003 at 12:08 pm #94179Very good wine, definitely had the desired result…except of course on my calculating skills

So far there has been 144 games this season, we missed the 1st week of 16 games, so the FreakScene season is 128 games…I seem to be short one game
Will check back thru the stats later
Good call on that gender difference/exact science deal…we wouldn’t want to go there
:aliensmile:Go BEARS Go
November 16, 2003 at 4:24 pm #94180

So close, came down to the last few seconds, no win at home for the BEARS today

We kept it close, had some great performances from some of our rookies today. We had the lead, a couple of game killing penalties by our rookies on the rams drive to take the lead (under two minutes left & no time outs) messed it all up
Our kicking team left a lot to be desired, Edinger missed a crucial field goal, kicked off out of bounds giving them the ball at the 40 for a key drive
Maynard needs to look for another job, I want punts that go over 30 yards downfield
Rams 23-BEARS 21 :slap:
oh yeah, that taunting penalty on Booker
How about the guy standing over him waving off his catch dramatically, NFL is taking some of the fun out of the game with those restrictions. I’m all for penalizing choreographed team dances but celebrating a wicked catch spiking the ball…big difference
BEARS 3-2 @ Soldier Field
