I’m not really much of a Lions fan, the organization makes it really hard to be one
, but I do watch everygame, because usually that’s all I get on Sundays on T.V.Dick Jauron lacks in talent evaluation, and decision making? Good he’ll fit right in!
I’m really a Bengal fan, I kinda adopted them when I was about 10 years old and have been following them since, the only game I went to last year was a road trip down to Cinci to see them play the Browns. I’m also a huge Titans fan, same reasoning, I really liked the Houston Oilers back in the day.
Living in Lion country you pretty much have to find other teams to follow, it’s too hard watching the home team lose every year.
January 25, 2004 at 5:12 pm #94278sucks not having football today..
Two weeks between games is TOO LONG!!!
January 27, 2004 at 4:59 pm #94279I agree, can’t wait for the game
:aliensmile:Ron Rivera hired as The BEARS Defensive Coordinator, played with the BEARS thru 84-92, also worked as the linebacker coach in Philadelphia for five years…

Go CATS Go

February 2, 2004 at 11:58 am #94282the FCC is looking into it now – http://www.drudgereport.com/”>http://www.drudgereport.com/
February 2, 2004 at 12:17 pm #94283Sounds like she tried to outdo britney & madonna, has a new album coming out, wardrobe failure, yeah right…

Shame about the game, complete defense battle in the first half until the last four minutes…then score score score… I missed the 3rd quarter. Carolina had them, shame they gave the ball back to NE with over a minute left…enough for the Pats to score the winning fg, didn’t think the guy would miss a 3rd fg

Oh well, silver lining is two ex BEARS get Superbowl rings, big Ted Washington & Rosie Colvin

Looking forward to next season, apparently our Offense will be all about speed….
February 3, 2004 at 10:42 am #94284I can not believe the reaction to the boob. Was it out of place? Probably. Then again, when my g/f was in France last year, she saw a commerical for shoes that featured a topless woman. Is it worth a FCC investigation, and all of this outrage? Hell no. It was just a boob, with the nipple covered. I did not even think twice about it, and I have a 14 year old son who saw it.
America is so repressed sexually, it is sickening.
attention FCC and you overly repressed people… IT WAS JUST A BREAST.. that is all.
February 3, 2004 at 12:09 pm #94285but what did you think of the game….

I agree about the fcc thing, seems a waste of time & money. I’m loving the blame game though…

Do they still censor all the swearing on The Osbournes/Sopranos
We get it expletives & all here, but I find myself swearing like a sailor after I watch an episode
February 3, 2004 at 12:32 pm #94286the game was super awesome, one of the best in recent years, if not ever. brady is going to go down in history now. 2 mvps is huge.
as far as the breast goes, i blame mike moore

Definitely agree on Brady, he gets the job done, very cool out there, had no doubt he would take them downfield to get that fg
February 3, 2004 at 12:51 pm #94288I tried to watch this. I really did. Lasted for about 40 minutes, then I understood that I didn’t understand anything and gave up.
The whole boob extravaganza really surprised me, can’t understand what the fuzz is all about. But then, Shaqullie O’Neal got fined $295 000 for swearing on television, so I guess there’s a lot about US moral I don’t understand.February 3, 2004 at 7:00 pm #94289Final Stats:
1
–> 148-87 –> 62.98 %Not too bad for a rookie, methinks….

Went to a real football match (soccer that is) tonight, A quarter final tie for the German cup: Monchengladbach – Duisburg, great game, never a dull moment, a crowd of about 40.000 people, lots of German beer, a 2 all draw, extra time (no score), a penalty shoot-out, Monchengladbach wins in the end

ps. Indeed amazing to see what one breast can do in the US of A, if I would get a dollar for every breast that’s on TV over here, I would be a very rich man within a week…..
:aliensmile:February 4, 2004 at 7:12 pm #94290Got my second dose of German Cup football tonight, went to the Alemannia Aachen/Bayern Munich game, in the very old, very small Tivoli stadium in Aachen tonight, 20.000 crazy fans seeing their team beat the mighty Bayern Munich 2 to 1
, 2 great games in 24 hours, and both less than 20 miles from my home….

GO ALEMANNIA GO!!!!

I’ve tried to watch canadian football, BEARly last ten minutes, just can’t get into it, even with my love for american football
I think the common link between some passionate fans of different sports is a respect & understanding of that passion…even if they don’t get it, hate the sport etc

You gotta respect that…
So Go Alemannia Go

But if your ever in Candada during football season I’ll help your learn & love the sport over numerous intoxicating beverages
