Limbaugh resigns from ESPN…

Not the voice of the fan I wanted to hear

Football doesn’t stop for rain, fog, sleet, frozen fields…only lightning can stop the game

I hope Chicago gets a Superbowl someday, sure it’s about -20 celsius down by the river in January but Hey! thats football weather in the midwest
Think they’re one of the teams presenting to the NFL on some upcoming Superbowl sites

Right on!

October 6, 2003 at 4:01 pm #94092I’m tied with dB @ 10-3 with the bucs tonite

A Train was unbelievable yesterday, RW earned his cash, Boone did extremely well replacing Traylor who’s out for at least four weeks. Urlacher got his first sack, Dez White finally made some wicked catches, Booker finally got some catches, Kordell was a trooper out there, kept getting smacked around, knocked down, rushed…showed a lot of heart. He came thru for us though when it counted, feels so good to finally have a win
Kordell was getting heckled mercilessly by some nasty so & so BEAR fans, very short sighted to blame all of the offensive problems on one guy…they got extremely personal in the heckling going into territories that are absolutely none of their business….Kordell thru his beverage at them

bad news…Holdman injured, high ankle sprain reported, in for MRI today, Booker has bruised ribs

Next up The Aints

and what the hell happened to the Steelers???
(oh yeah, and I have the Bucs tonight, so I may get to 9)
Carl.
October 6, 2003 at 7:45 pm #94094ugh…….another fairly piss-poor week for yours truly…………8-5 so far, with the suckaneers tonight. hope y’all fared better than me last weekend
. i’m seriously considering handing over the reins to the GF for this weekends picks (she’s not much of a football fan) just to see if i have better luck. for the season i’m a dismal 33-25 (56.9%), so i can’t do a whole lot worse…….October 7, 2003 at 1:13 pm #94095Well now.. What in the hell is this leaping rule??? It sucked. I am not a fan of either team. First off, Tupa was not run into.. And Simeon Rice did not appear to land on someone.. oh well, It was a hell of comeback by the Colts.. So that made me 8 – 6..
34 – 24 for the year (58.6%)….
