July 21, 2007 at 6:00 pm #128662The way J has been extending the solo on Gargoyle this last tour has been amazing. I could watch him go for 10 minutes just on that one song. There’s such a variance in speed, melody, tempo and register that it puts like 99.999% of other players to shame. I was Reckless Records today and they were playing some Metallica song and it sounded like some wanking Berklee wannabe compared to J.

July 25, 2007 at 1:11 pm #128664Those three shops are heaven. I never ever saw so many great records in my live. They had Mudhoney playing at the SF store but then I already left .The LA store is by far the best. I guess because it’s there for only a couple of years now.
