Do any of you Freaksceners have the City Slang pressing of "Free So Free" on vinyl? I need to know if it is on 180 gram vinyl like "More Light" is. I’m sure one of you non-US members have it. Please let me know.

      Thanks in advance.

My City Slang pressing is not 180gr, and I’m only aware of one vinyl version in europe. Is there a japanese pressing?

180g breaks less easier. and it is more expensive since it is used more vinyl than usual. :D

Thanks Robert. I have never seen the FSF listed as 180. Guess I was hoping they would do it since they did ML. I wonder if all the euro pressings of ML are 180? Does anyone have the City Slang press of ML that is not 180?

I have never seen ANY Japanese Dino vinyl.

180 gram is thicker and heavier so it is more flat and will not warp as easy so it will play better. Also when the vinyl is thicker, the grooves can be cut deeper so you get better sound and less skips. 180-200 gram vinyl is the greatest!!! Another important factor is the source they use. That’s why the MFSL pressings were always the best. I am also very impressed by the Simply Vinyl reissues! Some of the best vinyl I have ever seen. Anyone who has any probably knows what I mean. I wish they would do some of the Dino jr LPs.

The only Dino I know on heavy wax is ML and the BBC.

Regarding Simply Vinyl, their pressing of Jeff Buckleys Grace is heaven on wax. Probably the best production I’ve heard.
