Wow, this sounds great, came home today and I want to sweep and mop and dust the whole house, thought it would be great to put on free so free.net/radio blasting throughout all of the rooms but when I tried the computer said "Cannot play file, format not supported" I know I can listen to many other radio streams, any idea how I can fix this myself without having to ask the big guy for help. Thanks, me. I think I just need to change media player but, , don’t know how.

Still don’t know why I am having trouble but I expect to try to work it out soon. I have a few players but I don’t have winamp.
I stream lots of other things in fact I am listening to WNCW from North Carolina now but I can’t get onto Free so free radio. I have tried a few backdoor ways and everytime I get the window that says "cannot play file format not supported" Juan did not have time last night to look at it . He says if I download Winamp it will override everything else and he is not sure if that is the way to go. I will let y’all know when I get it. I am glad to see that others are having no trouble at all.

Did that and now get new window that says "The server received invalid data from the client on the control connection"

im not really sure..

maybe a router at home not letting you out on the required tcp port 8000.

what are you using as your main media player (the one that you normally stream radio on) -whats the name of it. -and what version of the software is it?

we’ll help you fix this. if i can be online the same time you are trying to get in, maybe i can dig something from the server logs.
