Yo….there are lots of great posts and whatnot about J’s usual gear ans setup, but does anyone have any idea about the second album stuff? Clealry it was different than what he had later on, and I really want to know what he used in terms of pedals and amps. Thanks for any possible help.
I think the pedals are pretty similar to what he has right now, like the EHX Electric Mistress and the MXR Phase 100. Like that sound on the Lung on the end that sounds like a tremolo, thats the phase 100 on the rotary setting. But J uses flange and trem for it nowdays.
Someone on the board mentioned that the wahs on ylaom are vintage crybabys which isnt imposible…
