Hansione just returned home from hospital, where he underwent some serious surgery on his knee.
From this, place: Get well soon, so that I can beat you at snooker soon enough! (one of my New Years resolutions [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img] [img]images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img] )
Hope the recovery goes well Hansione, thats gotta hurt!!! Tore a couple ligaments myself in 2000…ice, physio and naproxen did wonders, fingers crossed your back on your feet soon.

The hospital was horror! To get your ass wiped clean by a male nurse, who realy enjoyed doing it….. [img]images/smiles/icon_mad.gif[/img] [img]images/smiles/icon_mad.gif[/img] A guy in the same room, about 80 years old changing from a nice old man to a snoring wolve at night. It is great to be back home, play some of my favorite music, reed books, watching the worldchampionship darts on tely (way to go Barney!!) and visiting freakscene, reading that my friends are thinking of me!! Naproxen and Ice are keeping me on the right track and with some fysio I hope that I recover enough to give den buck snookerlessons again! By the way, I’ve been told that den buck is going to try to do some darts as well?!

Glad to hear your back home, definitely makes recovery a lot more pleasant. I actually checked out ama (against med advice) cause it was driving me nuts being in the hospital as a pt…27hrs after surgery [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] Haven’t met one of those male nurses thankfully…but YIKES [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

It was (again) quite a night. Good red wine helps to find the bull’s eye. Den Buck wasn’t so bad himself. He realy aimed at the board and not the knee. He also brought a copy of Uncut with a nice Americana-compilation. At four o’clock I Managed to overcome that annoying "Hik" (whats the english word for that strange repetitive reaction of the body after a lot of booze?)
We’ll do it again…and guys and grrls, when you are around come over and lets play a tournement jr.PS. I clocked today: 100 meters in 136 seconds. I’ll be back!
As Hansione is not yet able to run the 100 meters in 10 seconds, I went to visit him yesterday evening.
Alcohol seems to be a perfect disinfectant and painkiller, we shared a couple of bottles of nice red wine and he gave me some excellent lessons in the fine art of playing darts!
