Neil young has been my favorite artist for a long time now. All of his albums are good except for a couple. But hey… 48 out of 50 aint bad…
Sleeps with angels is one of his masterpeices along with Everybody Knows this is Nowhere, Zuma, Tonight’s The Night and Rust Never Sleeps.
They all have that "masterpeice" aura…
If you’re looking for just plain mainstream rock .. go with mirrorball, ragged glory, or any of his live albums.
If you’re looking for acoustic or country stuff go with After the Goldrush, Harvest, Harvest Moon, or Silver and Gold.
He’s made some really wierd albums in the 80’s that are an acquired taste but off the start stick with his 70’s and 90’s stuff. Your next purchase? Go with Rust Never Sleeps. Many hail it as his best album of all time and it would be in my top 5 of his best.
