There are some great picks here; Kerouac, Hemingway, Joyce, Dostoevsky…

        My Additions

Charles Bukowski – The Days Run Away like Wild Horses Over The Hills
        Don Dellilo – White Noise
        William S Burroughs – Junky
        Jack Kerouac – Bug Sur
And any poetry collections by TS Eliot, Ezra Pound, Sylvia Plath, William Blake, Pablo Neruda

I don’t know if everyone should read them but they’re pretty good.

          Dark Visions – L.J. Smith
The Immortal Series – Alyson Noel
          Evernight Series – Claudia Gray
Vampire Kisses Series – Ellen Schreiber
The Twilight Saga – Stephenie Meyer

These are great books with their story line and characters.

            Brave New World- Aldous Huxley
            Clock Work Orange- Anthony Burgess
Catcher In the Rye- JD Salinger
has anyone read those 90’s alternative comics "Hate" or "Neat Stuff" by Peter Bagge? I strongly recommend you do if you haven’t.
