Dinosaur Jr. Replacing Ween At UK’s ATP
by Staff | 12.19.2005ATP regretfully announce that Ween are no longer able to join us for the United Sounds of ATP. The band have withdrawn for personal reasons and we wish them all the best and hope one day they will be able to return to curate for us. Ween’s first choice was Dinosaur Jr. and after their blistering performance earlier this year at "Don’t Look Back" it gives us pleasure to announce that they have agreed to step up to the curatorial chair.
If you have bought tickets to Weekend Two on the understanding Ween was curating and wish to receive a refund, you are able to do so through the ticket outlet through which you purchased your ticket until January 5th, 2006. Alternatively, you are also able to exchange your tickets to Weekend One until this same date or as long as tickets are available. ATP would like to apologise for this change after some of you have bought tickets already, but hope you will join us anyway, for what will still be an amazing weekend.
All curators will perform and curate one day each, programming bands, DJ sets and a television channel.

December 23, 2005 at 6:21 pm #113397Dead Meadow are fantastic. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing them a handful of times in the last few. Their new record is totally different from the drone metal sound they had earlier. Great addition.
