does anyone know if green mind was ever pressed on vinyl or not? i have never seen it on vinyl, but i would love to get a copy, if it exists.
January 12, 2003 at 1:14 pm #85059hey caravelair, welcome here

according to this cool Dinosaur Jr Discography Green Mind has been released on vinyl, and, in a limited edition, even in green vinyl

Maybe it is to find on ebay then and when? Or does anyone know, where else to get one of these vinyls?
January 12, 2003 at 3:41 pm #85060i’ve looked on ebay, but never seen it on there!
January 12, 2003 at 4:09 pm #85061or maybe Amazon wishlist?
January 12, 2003 at 4:28 pm #85062I bought it, when it came out, on vinyl (in Belgium/Europe). So you can be sure it exist. I’m not interested in selling though…
January 12, 2003 at 11:51 pm #85063To my knowledge, the vinyl version was never released in the US. It was released over seas under the Blanco Y Negro record label. I accidentally posted that incorrectly a while back and never changed it. Sorry
Occassionally you can catch one on Ebay. If I remember correctly, they seem to end up selling for around $30 or a little more.
Have you tried looking at the GEMM web page for the vinyl version?
http://www.gemm.com”>http://www.gemm.comThis is a pathetic discography page I tried to start a while back just to learn Dreamweaver. It is so bad it needs instruction to navigate (which is the sign of a truly sorry web page) but here goes. Click on the type of release you want to view (Albums, singles, Compilations) Then click on the picture of the release you want to see information for. The red dot in the top frame on the right side takes you want to the initial bottom frame in which you can go back and select another type or release, or you can back click until you mouse falls apart. I’m sorry the page is so bad but I just started to learn dreamweaver and with school I don’t have any time to go back and learn the program well enough to improve the layout and I don’t have the time to update the information (I want to ad the Catalog No’s to all the releases, ad the tributes and compilation sections, and update some more informatoin I’ve come across).
January 13, 2003 at 2:08 pm #85064Hey Doss, thanks for the additional info & especally for the link to your Dino/ J discography site
… the navigation subtleties are not important, compared with the information to gain there! thanks a lot!
hopefully you’ll find that vinyl somewhere, caravelair

The last post in this topic contains a lot of additional info about gemm.com…
Here’s another site, where you can try your luck: http://www.musicstack.com (I could only detect Green Mind CD’s there right now, but this might change…)
January 27, 2003 at 1:48 pm #85065I don´t know if you already found it by now, but I saw Green Mind on vinyl for 10€ in a store last week, broke as usual.
I don´t know if you want it so bad that you´d come to Barcelona for it, but I just wanted to let you know.January 28, 2003 at 5:30 pm #85066hey uncle timmey, welcome here

well, that would be a good reason to travel down to Barcelona (another good reason is the awful weather here in Germany right now
)January 30, 2003 at 4:54 am #85067if you visit ebay within three days, you can get yourself that vinyl…
