Very pleasing documentary, very surprised he lasted 13 summers with the BEARS… :o

There was a mini doc on the making of the soundtrack. Herzog was telling Richard Thompson he was too melodic, needed to be more authoritative in his guitar playing. They filmed the 2 day process of recording the soundtrack, Jim O Rourke was also part of the musical team

Definitely recommend the film, don’t recommend living with BEARS :(

Anybody ever see Alone in the Wilderness about Richard Proenneke? WOW! He makes even the the most rugged amung us look wimpy.
The guy is basically dropped off in the middle of Alaska and decided "what the hell, think I’ll stay a while". Well, that "little while" turned into about 30 years! The guy build everything: cabin, utensiles, canoe, you name it.
And I think I’m a big man when I fix the lawnmower! ::)

After being attacked by a bear and surviving in 1984, Ontario-based metal worker Troy Hurtubise became fascinated by the animals and decided he needed to relive the experience. To that end, he began the long process of constructing a massive suit of mechanical body-armor, like something out of a science fiction film rather than a tool of scientific research. The documentary film PROJECT GRIZZLY traces Hurtubise’s quest to build his armor, but as it progresses Hurtubise’s quirky personality and strange ideas begin to hold more interest than the armor itself. An unusual nature documentary and an examination of an eccentric personality, PROJECT GRIZZLY has become a cult phenomenon.

I think that man is making a xray machine that can see through walls and stuff now, sounds like something from Buckaroo Bunzai to me

I still have no clue how this machine works, and I need to know, if anyone does. Defying modern physics is no ordianry feat.
