Word freaksceners!
You all may remember me from such user names as kurticus7, colonel kurtz, k7 rides again, and on and on and on. Well after being on a 3 year hiatus, I am announcing my official return to the boards and into the house of Dinosaur. Will you all take me back? Please please please?So "where you been" you may be asking yourselves…well that’s a mighty good question. A very good question indeed.
Almost 3 years ago I went corporate. Hey! It’s not selling out, its buying in. However, it is long hours which keeps me at the office quite a bit, but it’s worth it. The pay is nice, the benefits are good, and talk about perks galore. Plus it’s a heck of a lot more stimulating then planting trees for a living. Although, an honest day’s hard work is good for the body and soul. So I get back to that when I can.
One down side, going from a high energy job to sitting on your ass causes the pounds to accumulate. I put on a good 50-60, and have spent the last year here and there trying to take that off. That last 10-15 is pain in the A.
Well surely you must be married by now. HA HA HA. No way! I was in a great relationship for 3.5 years with a fantastic girl who systematically drove away my friends and family, secluded me from any type of social occassion beyond her, and in general made life a living hell. Which probably explains my abscence from the board. Although she did buy me a rare tour poster from a Hellacopters show I went to four years ago which is proudly framed and displayed in my living room for all to see. She also bought me tix to see the mighty reunited Dino in Indianapolis this spring. I can now die I satisfied man. So I guess she had some good points too. If any of you have some single girl friends that enjoy the types of music listened to by members of this community, please feel free to introduce me
Many years ago I spent a week in Aruba and promised myself I would go somewhere new every year. Since then, I’ve seen Cali, Nevada (Vegas 2x), Texas, Colorado, Kansas, Missourri, Illinois (Chicago and the deep south), Indiana (the Vogue for Dino for one), Wisconsin (those dang badgers beat my bucs), Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, New York, Massachusettes (Boston is a cool town), Rhode Island (so much beer), and the Bahamas (if you get the chance, go stay at the Riu on Paradise Island. All inclusive for a cheap price and you get the benefits of Atlantis 100 yards next door). So yeah, I like to get around. Europe, I’m coming for you next!!!
Still rockin’ Columbus. For you college football fans, #1. It’s undeniable. Go Tressel!!! It’s pretty boring, there’s not much to do, but downtown is starting to grow, and we are getting on the scene. Although seeing a decent band without driving at least 2 hrs is nearly impossible. Come to central OH for cryin’ out loud!!!
But I was always there for the music. I never let go of the music. I have continued to come across so many new and exciting bands. And have spent a good amount of time delving into the past. I’m absolutely amazed at how many incredible bands are out there and how many were cutting edge 10-15-20 yrs ago and I’m just now discovering. So I’m looking to get my ear back to the street and looking to you all for some additional help.
So what’s new? Where’s the posse at? You know who you are. You all still hanging out on the board? I sure hope so. It’s been a long time since we’ve talked the talk. I’m sure many new people have come and gone and hopefully some decided to stay. I hope I get to know you all in the days to come.

Now I understand why the site was down, the whole thing crumbled with excitement and expectations when it saw you.
I am glad you found your way back here, life has not been the same.
Now to fill you in on what you´ve missed while you´ve been gaining and loosing weight, working like mad, hitchhiking across the us and watching simpsons.
1.Rich finally came out of the closet.
2.We enjoyed a quick stint as an ashlee simpson fan forum, mostly due to requests from Bucky Ramone and SG.
3.We raised money to keep the site going by doing webcam stripshows, this was a smashing success -the female members raised close to a million dollars in six months. This money was lost when we got sued from here to nebraska by angry customers who expected killer bodies, but instead saw me jump around in my speedo singing take on me.
4.Jeremiah nearly lost a finger while engaged in mortal combat over the last tomacco plant.
5.Aatos became president of finland and hasn´t been seen since.
6.Deepsludge came back from the dead.I think that pretty much sums it up. Yes it does.
It´s great to have you back !
Oh yeah, that´s right; it´s still nowhere to collapse the lung, breeds a doubt in everyone

Looking back, it would appear that I have been in and out over the past 3 years, but the sheer amount of posting decreased to practically nada. Give me a few to catch up on some reading and then let the posting begin.
