yeah we talked on this forum about this here a long time ago-i saw it when it 1st appeared on tv…very strange combination of JJ and DINO JR.
it is also available on that shittee ‘ultimate video collection’ that is sometimes available on ebay for too much money for what it is…

I remember watching that when it aired. I was like "what the fuck?!" I thought it was very strange, and felt they should’nt have stooped to that level. Oh well, they J stopped the bleeding a little while after the show when Dinosaur Jr called it a day.

Yeah, I was between classes in college and flipping channels. I think I’d stopped there for a second and when it went to comercial break I was like "is that Dinosaur Jr?" I watched the rest of the episode and sure enough…

Oh, the crowd is hilarious! Someone is raising the roof and everyone looks like they have no idea what’s going on but the producers told them to act like they are at a rock show or something!

Whats with that video? I’ve seen it before and I thought it seemed strange, I’ve seen the show about once on pay-tv here in Australia and it looked like shit. Are there many bands that perform on it? live music and that show don’t seem to go too well together.
I know from somewhere that Stephen Malkmus said they were wanted to play major leagues on jenny jones, but never did it because he says its a horrible show.

That Husker Du vid is weird too. I remeber rocking out to that album in high school. I should pull it back out and listen to it, there were some great memories with that record.

Wow, Dinosaur Jr on Jenny Jones. As much as I LOVE Dino, this just seems way too lame. I mean come on! No one else wanted them on their tv shows? I don’t buy that. Besides, Jenny Jones’ show sucks!! A new low in J’s career.
