The Bats` new album The Guilty Office is being released on the Hidden Agenda label on June 23rd.It`s been out in New Zealand for months,it`s a really good album

I missed seeing them when they played here in `97.I think it was their only time here.I wish we could hear Georgia on vocals more and Ira just shut up and play guitar not that I totally hate his voice,Georgia just seems like their secret weapon,beautiful voice she has.

I’m going to have to politely disagree with you. And by politely disagree I mean poke you with a stick. She does have a beautiful voice but I think it is perfect in just the right amount that it is. If you want to hear her more she should have the decency to pursue a solo career, develop a coke habit and sell mediocre records a la Kim Deal.

She did`nt do much lead vocals on early albums.I doubt a solo career would happen after 25 years with YLT.

New album from Versus out Aug 3rd

Their first in 10 years so I`m pretty excited.They`re one of my favorite bands of the `90s so it`s great to have them back

Faun Fables’ album Light of a Vaster Dark is coming out this month on Drag City.

They’re currently touring the US, still a few shows in the south then back to Oakland and the Northwest in mid-November.

If you like to have your mind blown by stunning original folk music/theater and Sandy Denny, Eva Demarczyk, Brigitte Fontaine, and Black Sabbath covers float your boat, go hear them play.
