I think it’s funny that you see Rumsfeld’s "resignation" (which, of course, it was not) as a victory for the Dems. Actually, it’s a strategic move by the GOP. If you remember, Rumsfeld offered his resignation twice before, and Bush wouldn’t let him go. So why get rid of him now? Simple… with the shift in balance of the Senate, the GOP knows that Rumsfeld will be one of their first targets, and that ousting him would be a victory for them… so they ditch him now and deprive the Dems of their chance. It’s the ever-famous "you can’t fire me, I quit" routine.

– a ‘friend’ and I were exchanging insults the other day after they had been passed through the Google Translate tool. I can almost never get the same thing if I go from English to x then x back to English. That one started off as "I only play for money" (ala the Frogs) and went through the blender a few times to generate that grand phrase of nothing. Tis pretty though
Phrases including ‘man chicken’ did not do well either

Devil Dukakis), will be raising our state taxes.

Actually posted this mid-discussion with a co-worker.not sure where I read got this (which I, as per normal, am about to butcher):
poli = many
tick = blood sucking parasiteno matter what party someone sides with (and I vote across lines), always beware of wolves in drag.

Hopefully the new guy won’t botch this thing up any further. :-

strange but true
If Sun Ra was still alive I`d elect him for president just to hear his State Of The Universe address

Guess I should have known better… even a nut-bag like Dukakis wouldn’t have sex with Hillary.
