Shower Song…Versus

You take flight in the middle of the night
but not me
You drive fast and walk on the grass
but not me
You don’t think twice baby, thats alright
but not for me
You say sorry and thats the end of story
but not for me

not you, not me
not you, not me
not you, not me
not you, not me…

Another Nerf Herder that brings out the

COURTNEY LOVE
You came from some town out in the sticks
To become the modern Stevie Nicks
You had the guts, a lot of ambition
The riot grrrls thought you were bitchin’
You bared your soul
You showed us your hole

Courtney Love don’t throw it all away
Courtney Love don’t you go changin’
Courtney Love Courtney Courtney Love

I saw you in a movie about pornography
You were looking pale and kind of saggy
I have to say it made me woozy
When you fucked Woody Harrelson in the jacuzzi
You wore grungy clothes
And doctors fixed your nose

Courtney Love don’t throw it all away
Courtney Love don’t you go changin’
Courtney Love Courtney Courtney Love

Now I’m overweight and ugly
Just like you used to be
Why can’t I be like you
Then we could drive away to Malibu
I hope I’m not out of place but
Courtney Love sit on my face

Courtney Love don’t throw it all away
Courtney Love what about me I’m not gay
Courtney Love Courtney Courtney Love

Gold dust woman…

you said that you would not love me last summer
and you said that you would not love me last spring
but i hoped you would change your mind by autumn
especially when i bought that diamond ring

but you still said ‘no’
you wouldn’t have me
you still said ‘no, no no’

i heard that you’ve been sleeping with your old friends
and i heard when each one left
and broke your heart
i told you then that i never leave you
and i told you that i loved you from the start

but you still said ‘no’
you would not have me
you still said ‘no, no no’

even though you haven’t got any answers
you still think you dont need any one
to save you from the mess you’ve created
even when i gave my only son

but you still said ‘no’
you wouldn’t have me
you still said ‘no, no no’

Hey!

I can’t explain the things you do to me
but I’m sure theres an explanation
maybe it’s the way you carry yourself’
maybe its the conversation
you got me tip-toeing on auto collide(?)
afraid that I might fall thru
and hit rock bottom
soon to be forgotten like so many other people do

I need you to help me convince myself
besides me theres no one else
I been feeling a lot a whole lot of shakin’
in my heart since I met you
Don’t you know that
I been feeling a lot a whole lot of shakin’
in my heart since I met you

They got so used to running around well
tell me I changed that I’m acting kinda strange
they don’t realize that since I met you
my whole life has been rearranged
makes me feel kinda insecure
cause my heart I can no longer control
you got me rockin, talking & stomping
don’t know which way I’m supposed to go
my heart is all tied up in knots
I walk around daily in a state of shock

cause I

I’m feeling a whole lot of shakin’ in my heart
since I met you

Whole Lot of Shakin’ In My Heart…originally by Smokey Robinson but I prefer a certain Swedish bands cover

And I was your creation right from the start
I was no one ’till you tore me apart
I know you, I hate that kind
But you’re all I want all the time
And I try to push it to the back of my mind
But you’re all I want all the time
~Karl Hendricks Trio "Somewhere, A Weekend of Sin"

I really need to stop listening to "sad bastard" tunes. Hives/Weezer/Joey Ramone here we come…

KJFP that is a great song, sent it out to our freakscene group on audiogalaxy

Can’t tell you whats coming next cause
I don’t know for sure
It could be good and it could be bad
I don’t know for sure
I guess that I’ll continue on from day to day
The only way to answer that
To answer that would be to be that way

I wanted this, and I wanted that
I don’t know for sure
and don’t ask because I don’t know
I don’t know for sure

I never get confused cause I don’t really know
So I’m happy and so what
So what means I don’t know

I Don’t Know For Sure…Husker Du

You invite me to the seven seas,
like some seasick man.
You’ll do whatever you please,
and I’ll do whatever I can.

Took me awhile to find all of the out of print discs, but I have them now. If the cable company would ever install broadband on my street, I’d join y’all in a sec…

Hit Somebody (The Hockey song) – Warren Zevon

He was born in Big Beaver by the borderline
He started playing hockey by the time he was nine
His dad took the hose and froze the back yard
And Little Buddy dreamed he was Rocket Richard
He grew up big and he grew up tough
He saw himself scoring for the Wings or Canucks
But he wasn’t that good with a puck

Buddy’s real talent was beating people up
His heart wasn’t in it but the crowd ate it up
Through pee-wee’s and juniors, midgets and mites
He must have racked up more than six hundred fights
A scout from the flames came down from Saskatoon
Said, "There’s always room on our team for a goon
Son, we’ve always got room for a goon"

There were Swedes to the left of him
Russians to the right
A Czech at the blue line looking for a fight
Brains over brawn– that might work for you
But what’s a Canadian farm boy to do
What else can a farm boy from Canada do
But what’s a Canadian farm boy to do
What else can a farm boy from Canada do

Hit somebody! was what the crowd roared
When Buddy the goon came over the boards
"Coach," he’d say, "I wanna score goals"
The coach said, "Buddy, remember your role
The fast guys get paid, they shoot, they score
Protect them, Buddy, that’s what you’re here for
Protection is what you’re here for
Protection– it’s the stars that score
Protection– kick somebody’s ass
Protection– don’t put the biscuit in the basket just
Hit some, Buddy! It rang in his ears
Blood on the ice ran down through the years
The king of the goons with a box for a throne
A thousand stitches and broken bones
He never lost a fight on his icy patrol
But deep inside, Buddy only dreamed of a goal
He just wanted one damn goal

There were Swedes at the blue line
Finns at the red
A Russian with a stick heading straight for his head
Brains over brawn– that might work for you
But what’s a Canadian farm boy to do
What else can a farm boy from Canada do
But what’s a Canadian farm boy to do
What else can a farm boy from Canada do

In his final season, on his final night
Buddy and a Finn goon were pegged for a fight
Thirty seconds left, the puck took a roll
And suddenly Buddy had a shot on goal

The goalie committed, Buddy picked his spot
Twenty years of waiting went into that shot
The fans jumped up, the Finn jumped too
And coldcocked Buddy on his follow through
The big man crumbled but he felt all right
‘Cause the last thing he saw was the flashing red light
He saw that heavenly light

There were Swedes to the left of him
Russians to the right
A Czech at the blue line looking for a fight
Take care of your teeth– that might work for you
But what’s a Canadian farm boy to do
What else can a farm boy from Canada do
But what’s a Canadian farm boy to do
What else can a farm boy from Canada do
