I got my shipping confirmation email from sc distribution today.
But still no package.And I got this e-mail from Frock steady last tuesday:
“Unfortunately we have to tell you that the production and import of
some of the exclusive items in the pre-order bundle has been delayed
and that we can only ship your orders starting monday next week.
However we promise to get your orders out as soon as we can.”Thought the whole idea of making a pre-order was to get it at release date or earlier…
only complaints I have from the Jagjaguwar one is the notifications (It still arrived on time, just not communicated) and that I did not get the purple vinyl, but that was not promised either.
I hope the rest of you that pre-ordered get yours today
Normally to be honest I couldn’t care less when any of it turns up! But if they are going to charge a LOT through frock steady I hope it gets back to Dino mgmt that it’s been poor and it’s not fair on fans who spend the cash on the album.
Received the shipping notice yesterday from Jagjaguar, has not arrived yet. Maybe it’ll be there when I get home. I’m really looking forward to the bundle with the signed posted. Haven’t heard anything from them. I’m not worried about it. I got the download two weeks ago, I’m lovin’ it!

Got this earlier today:
all orders containing a Dinosaur Jr. – bundle have been dispatched on Friday last week and Monday this week.
We’ve sent a mail a few days ago explaining that there was a delay in importing some of the goodies in the packege so we couldn’t send them out prior to release-date as originally planned. However it seems like there was a problem with the mailout as a few more customers claim they have never received this mail.
We’d like to express our sincere apologies for the delay. We can assure you that your record / bundle will be with you asap.

Got my deluxe package from Jagjaguar today. LP, CP, Poster, 7″. What the heck is a Litho-wrapped jacket? My LP is a gatefold…is the normal package for this album not a gatefold? It’s definitely the high quality kind of jacket, the “old fashioned” way they did gatefolds. If you own a lot of vinyl, you know what I’m talking about.
I got my deluxe package from Jagjaguwaur today! No purple vinyl : ( I hope I get the purple vinyl with the huge crazy package with the signed poster. I received an email from Colortest Merchandise who I’m guessing is sending the package. Should be here soon!
No email from Frock Steady yet, however if they did send out the stuff on the dates mentioned then the package really shouldn’t take longer than a week. I’d never even heard of Frock Steady until I ordered this but if they can’t even get their email system in order to confirm shipping then they’re pretty much a disaster. Late importing items of a fairly expensive pre-order package, late shipping them out, extremely slow about responding to queries and a non-functioning email system. Has anyone had a good experience with them?

Does anyone know who gets the purple LP?It seems like the purple vinyl might’ve been dropped into the bundles occasionally, at random, since tonas is the only one on here who received it. I got the standard black, which is probably better for fidelity but doesn’t look as cool.
Hi folks — first comment here (been a fan since my college years when “Where You Been” was new).
Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents as well that I ordered the big pre-order bundle with the signed poster as well, and I haven’t received anything from Transmission Merchandise other than my original PayPal receipt either. I understand that manufacturing, shipping, and all that stuff can take some time and can even be late….but the lack of communication from Transmission Merch is upsetting. If nothing else, a simple mass email to everyone who ordered giving a head’s-up that the package was running late would have been nice. I had a vinyl pre-order from another band a couple of weeks ago that was pushed back due to manufacturing issues, so the company behind that one sent out a digital download of the album to tide us over until the vinyl showed up….I thought that was a very cool gesture. Something as simple as that would have made the wait for this one much better. Instead, I resorted to less-than-legit means to acquire the digital files on release day so I could at least hear the music.Oh well, I guess it’s not that big of a deal….but I wanted to vent for a second. The bundle will get here when it gets here. The good news is that I’m loving the music, and I can’t wait to see the band in Dallas in a few weeks!!
