Will pick up the two Waits-cd’s next saturday, I’m anxious to listen to them (best concert ever was Waits in the Hague in 1999).
While in the shop I will also buy the re-isue of the band’s "the last walz", it’s a 4 cd set for only 45 euro+ a nice bio by former bandmember Levon Helm. The only question is what do I do with the original double-cd I have. It will be the third time Robbie Robbertson make a buck on me. First the record-set, then the double-cd and now the box…insane!

Thanks for the offer Wireland, but I only have an analog connection to the web, so downloading songs take ages (as this is what you meant with the preview)

Bought it at Future Shop for $15.99,2 other stores were selling it for $19.99;going to buy Blood Money next time.
Always interesting who plays with Waits;on this album Matt Brubeck(Dave Brubeck`s son),Stewart Copeland from The Police and Joe Gore, who sometimes plays with PJ Harvey.

I dig it. If you were one of the Green Haters, you might not like it. Actually downloaded the finished tracks a couple of weeks ago, and they take some getting used to. Yes, I bought it anyway the first day it came out because I’m a nerd. I guess the first run has 7 live performances on Quicktime. Can’t wait to check those out. Rumor has it they will be doing a 6 song live EP this summer. Should be cool–I saw ’em twice on the last tour

Oh yeah–I don’t think I ever told you how much ass your sig kicks, Malc!

Kjfp, thanks!

I couldn’t wait for a review,so I went out to Target yesterday and bought a copy. It isn’t bad atall. Seems the guys are edging back into the Pinkerton direction, which is where things should have stayed. I ended up running into a couple of people I knew, and we had a listening party right in the parking lot.

yo la tengo–the sounds of the sounds of science.

have to order it from their website, but it’s only 10 bucks including shipping. ira will write you a note too.

this is the music they wrote for a series of french silent films about sea creatures. it was performed the first time at the san francisco int. film festival, and i was lucky enough to be there for it, so i’m glad they are releasing the music. was hoping they would do a dvd but this is fine. not your typical yo la tengo sound, but its good.

Weezer -Maladroit,lp and cd. Agree with Malcolm -A friend of the Rentals on the Pinkerton deal. But too early to say anything about the album as a whole and how it stands up against the others.

Bob Hund -10 år bakåt & 100 år framåt. all the singles and some great live takes. Nu är det vel revolusjon på gång!!

Does anyone know a good website for getting out of print CDs? There is some sort of conspiracy against me getting Henry’s Dress–Bust ‘Em Green…
