…the Stillers, the Bears, and the snow. I love futbol americano when it is snowing, especially when your team(s) are playing and your team is winning, but Bears fans shouldn’t be discouraged they have a great team with an improving offense and reside in a confrence that allows a team headed by a guy named Eli to be considered contenders. To make up for hte win we will kick the crap out of the pesky vikings next weekend to give you guys some space in the north, hope all is well to the Mighty Urlacher who went toe to toe with the Bus and lost by a goalline or two, i dug the game for the snow falling mostly that’s why i’m so ghostly…
December 13, 2005 at 1:35 pm #92401Fingers crossed you roll over the vikings, definitely would be a good thing for us! That game was painful to watch, can’t believe our D let up like that, it was horrifying. Couldn’t even watch the 2nd half, I’ve been spoiled, 8 wins in a row & a loss feels like…
December 13, 2005 at 8:10 pm #92402For anyone whose intrested: Coldplay will perform on Austin City Limits this weekend……

Urlacher getting run over by Bettis just about killed me, god that was heartbreaking!
Go Steelers this w/e, kill those filthy vikings…Â
;DDecember 17, 2005 at 12:09 am #92404…picture was great, love football in the snow, snow falling just looks cool. Unfortunatly no snow in domes so i’ll have to hope for snow sunday night in the windy city, should be fun reguardless…
…i just watched that Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, i dug it much. Such a fun movie, made me want to buy a huge boat with multi-levels and of course a spa…funny stuff yet cool and visually stunning at times, not like snow on a football field but like tiny cg sea cratures in champaign flutes…
December 20, 2005 at 11:50 pm #92405…Rex Grossman take the field and all of Bears nation come alive, not that they weren’t alive before in fact they were up 6-3 at the time but it just seemed different in such a good way that smiles were of the not going away anytime soon varity. Stillers looked good inside for a change and now things get real interesting…
December 21, 2005 at 5:06 pm #92406Steelers looked great against the vikings, appreciate you letting us keep our one game cushion in the NFC North…

It was a much needed change at qb, Grossman was a bit rusty, but overall he moved the ball down the field great, picked up some 3rd down conversions…something we haven’t been doing even though we’ve been winning. Loved how the rookie Kyle Orton managed the games, for the most part, he definitely needs to work on his passing & accuracy in the off season though!
Our D came out pissed off, they were emBEARassed about how the Steelers ran all over them, think they showed they’re still worthy of the # 1 ranked D title. The Falcons looked very confident on their 1st play, after that they looked shocked & confused. I thought out Dmight kill Michael Vick out there…
ÂInjuries have finally caught up with us, we had 15 new names on our special teams list, rookie at safety, Mike Brown & Chris Harris have been out a couple weeks, hopefully we get them back along with Cedric Benson for the playoffs.
Definitely gets interesting now, we have a couple division games left, Packers on Christmas Day & Vikings on New Years day, both on the road.
How much did the packers lose to the ravens by on MNF…
December 21, 2005 at 7:23 pm #92407About time the Bears get something out of the former first rounder Grossman. But, I still say Benson’s a bust- Mack Brown had no problem running him into the ground at Texas with 20 to 30 carries a game so, he comes into the league with a heavy workload already attached. Keep in mind, 4 or 5 years is all a running back is usually good for in the NFL….
In other news, my Cowboys are going to Carolina this weekend to lose. How do you go from potentially having home feild advantage in the playoffs to struggling for a Wild Card spot? Easy. Leave it to Parcells pathetic, conservative, milquetoast playcalling.
I can still hold onto the rumor that Culpepper will at the Cowboy helm next season cause it looks like we’re headed for a long winter this year.
Oh, and who was the guy throwing the ball for the Ravens on Monday? That definately didn’t look like Kyle Boller to me.December 26, 2005 at 5:40 pm #92408It definitely is nice to get something other than a catastrophic season ending injury out of Grossman…aka Glassman He has energized the Offense though, kinda worried about us going into Minneapolis, Rex tripped on the turf and tore a couple ligaments in his knee one year, god, nobody even touched him.
Not a huge fan of Benson myself, he’s paying the price for holding out thru the entire preseason/training camp etc, injured, slow start with difficulty reading defensive schemes. All the same, he’s shown that he can produce some nice runs, good to be deep at RB going into the playoffs.
Best play of the day yesterday was by a Steeler on a drunken Cleveland fan who ran on the field thru the game, wicked body slam to the turf with one arm…
better view…
December 31, 2005 at 2:28 am #92409…Stillers smushed browns, Bears bashed packers, great fan crushing links…
January 4, 2006 at 5:55 pm #92410Just watched a great video of David Letterman giving that fox creep bill oreilly the business, said that 60% of what he says is crap…

Pretty pleasing fan made tribute to the Mighty Chicago BEARS D…

How about the one where George is in competition with the guy that survived the Titanic for a great apartment- Maybe the best George moment of them all. Besides the time he pushed the old lady in the walker down to get out of the apartment he thought was on fire! Happy Festivus!
January 11, 2006 at 6:23 pm #92413Hey, I was kinda feelin’ the daily Seinfeld updates……..
January 12, 2006 at 12:57 am #92414Seinfield is good stuff, love the one where Jerry and Kramer switch apartments becasue of the Kenny Rogers roasters sign and Jerry and Kramer end up switching personalities as well.
I’ve been watching bunches of movies, the Human Stain, a movie i wish i could talk more about, hate giving away story lines and twists but this one had fun stuff, problem seems to be lately i am laughing at the most serious moments of dramatic films, i don’t think it’s because they are really bad but maybe i’m wrong, overall not great film but cool and worth a look; the Upside of Anger, a movie i figured would be bad but i dig romantic romps and this was that, I hate Kevin Costner but he was fun as a drunk, so was Joan Allen and her four cute as all get out daughters, the best part was that laughing uncontrolably was used to set off the most dramtic moments so it was ok to be laughing for real, that was comforting and eriee in a way, more fun than i thought is the final judgement; Tin Men was a re-watch but i love Barry Levinson films, especially the Baltimore series and this was from it and contains clever dialouge seldom scene in most films, that seems a nough for now…
…oh Stillers beat bungles; how much fun is sunday going to be futbol americano fans, whole weekend really, but days like sunday don’t come around often i’m ready to soak it up good or bad and be happy while it lasts…
Here we go Stillers…
…go Bears go…
