…i totally forgot i watched Batman Begins and it was pretty darn good. I don’t know why they needed to make a new batman but they did and Morgan Freeman saved the day and he didn’t even have a big role but he doesn’t need one because he is god or at least a really fine actor…
June 17, 2006 at 5:32 pm #92431Caught Nick Caves movie The Proposition, violent to the max but definitley worth checking out, not usually a fan of westerns, glad I made the exception!
Heres the website with trailers, pics, music
June 17, 2006 at 6:01 pm #92432I just watched Stephen King’s IT and I was really let down. I had watched it when I was a kid and pennywise the clown scared the shit out of me but it was just… :-
I still think it’s my favorite stephen king film though
June 27, 2006 at 6:35 pm #92433Lucid….Canadian film

Saw it awhile ago, just came out on DVD. Story about a damaged therapist who can’t sleep, treating a group of people with PTSD & bizarre sleep disorders, they start sharing delusional beliefs about repeaters in the community…they keep getting worse & chaos ensues.
Definitely a fun time, bit long though…Lucid The Movie
July 7, 2006 at 3:05 pm #92434another Canadian documentary…
Canadian Anthropologist & Metal fan->Sam Dunn’s investigation of Metal Culture. Kinda cool, would have preferred more time spent on the early Metal scene versus say…motley crue

The Wacken Festival in Germany looks wild…

Lots of ‘ists in the film…sociologists, psychologists, musicologist, anthropologist-but lots of interviews with Lemmy, Iommi, Dio etc.
Out on Dvd
July 16, 2006 at 1:19 am #92435…RV. Yeah, it’s true, dollar theatre and it still was $1.75 i was scared it wouldn’t deliver at that price but i was wrong. Robbin William wasn’t too over the top and Lindsay Lohan is cute as a button, yes i love cheesy movies on a summer day anyway i can get into the theatre, besides the only other thing playing were cartoons and that tom cruise action thing i wouldn’t give two cents to, long live the dollar theatre…
July 16, 2006 at 10:42 am #92436I never heard of Madagascar but I have seen Freaks – it’s pretty cool – if you like that sort of thing.
July 16, 2006 at 11:06 pm #92437I went to see the new Pirates movie today- it was ok… as far as tv goes, the only show I’ve been watching is Rescue Me- oh and Lost re-runs.
August 12, 2006 at 2:05 pm #92438saw the night listener with robin williams the other day, total dud, disappointed in a huge way!
Watched a couple Godzilla movies recently, Monster Zero, Ghidrah the 3 Headed Monster & Godzilla versus Mothra…love the special effects used in the 60’s…

caught a bit of the BEARS 1st preseason game at 3am this morning, gotta love NFL Network. It was painful to watch at times, Grossman looked horrible, lots of people out with injuries…
Couple bright spots made it all good though, Griese at QB, Davis at WR (converted db) & Hester had a great kick return…looking good for the seaon. Can’t wait to take on the packers…

FX is an edgy channel, showing that sex scene and all…OK well it was highly suggested and she began to enjoy it. Still, nothing has come my way funnier than It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Have anyone seen this? The pilot cost 48 dollars. It’s way too good to be on FX.
I’ve heard about it. Isn’t it that show with Danny Devito? Looks pretty funny but wasn’t sure whether it would be worth a watch or not. And I’m lovin’ the new avatar deepsIush!

August 13, 2006 at 4:50 pm #92441I dunno, I think I’m allergic to cute monsters, that blowing smoke rings thing is cool though.
Another monster movie I recently watched is Gorgo, definitely recommend it, lots of flame thrower action…

No you cannot. I hope your allergies clear up seeing how cute monster season is now upon us.

My dead friend Jeremiah and I went to see it in 1989, and our babies Lisa and Tara went. Tara didn’t want to see it though, so she went to another theatre with my mom. There were a few high points, like the electrocution scene where the killer would not die.
Like, can a soul transport itself thru bodies like that, a transfusion of sorts. It was cool when the Allison character came back in the form of a spirit and riddle Johnathon on how to kill him for good. The end part, where they were jumping around television scenes was real inspired,
. That movie sucked. So will the next one.Oh Toni
August 19, 2006 at 2:12 pm #92444saw the movie Descent this week, ok way to spend the afternoon, girls kicking some pale monsters around in caves…

saw a really corny Susan Hayward movie called Deadline at Dawn, really hilarious gangster lines though, best being…
