…a bunch of movies; the Ice Harvest, gangstar movie done in Kansas, quick fun twists and such, John Cusack is usually good for a laugh or two, Shattered Glass, flick about that kid that made up stories for the New Republic, fun but really not that great, just shows how being nice to people can get you almost anywhere, Jarhead, basically full metal jacket in gulf war one time, alright if you dig war movies, hard war to make a movie about i guess i liked Three Kings better but this being more serious deseres a watch if you want to see what that war might have been about, a History of Violence, sort of another mob flick done in the heartland, more about other stuff though and not as good as it probably could have been but watchable just not outstanding, of the four i think i dug the ice harvest the most but who really knows…
November 3, 2006 at 2:55 am #92461…alot of tennis, freakin’ tennis channel is such a fun(ny) thing, they have these commercial type break segments called "bag check", and players go through their bags showwing what wierd stuff they have, the coolest thing was a shock zorb that the guy claimed he stole from Pete Sampras, however they make shock zorbs that say Pete Sampras as he indorses fine tennis equipement, i use grip tape that bares his picture (on the package), so it is ssort of an easy joke to say you have Pete’s shock zorb but this guy flat out said he stole it maybe as a joke but who knows and that is fun for tv and someday if i’m ever cool enough to get a bag check segment, i mean i’ll never be good enough at tennis to warrent it but if i won a contest or something cool like that sold my soul to the guy that made time but now that’s rediculous but it could happen, i mean having a tv bag sheck segment, not that there are cool things in my tennis bag but i think it is a good thing to watch and find myself reaching for the remote to turn up the volume as i watch most sporting events with no sound unless it is a really big game, Stillers and Penn State games and such…

I’m a little infatuated with the JD character. I’m thinking about sending him a lock of my hair.November 3, 2006 at 2:55 pm #92463"deepsIush " wrote:Toxic Avenger 1 and 2…I haven’t watched these since I was a kid. I remember lots of boobies and someone’s intestines being tied in a bow. What were my parent’s thinking letting me watch this stuff?!
Quote:I’ve seen Scrubs a few times. Their theme song is lame. The show is funny though, like when Dr. Kelsoe turned to JD and told him he looked like crap. J.D. just said, "I’m just trying to blend in with my surroundings"I like the stuffed dog in their apartment.

I always looked for them in the movie store but could never find them. I must have been in and out of consciousness caused I missed those parts. The toxic avenger played the part of Melvin. You should come up here because you can rent them at my local video store. No edited for tv for us! You bring snacks.
Quote:Speaking of stuffed, is that the teen girl from Roseanne in Scrubs? You’re damn right that’s Becky!
She was the second Becky though, remember?November 3, 2006 at 3:32 pm #92465"deepsIush " wrote:You supply the pink taco and I’ll bring the orange marmalade, lettuce and creem cheese.I was thinking more along the lines of popcorn…
Quote:I never watched Roseanne, I just saw her in a line-up.Liar.
Quote:I bought my old ford ranger from a JD. He told me a funny joke, that I didn’t get at the time….I still don’t.That does sound like a funny joke.

Quote:Yeah well, we were beside a loud band saw when he told me I might have missed a keyword or two.So do you normally negotiate vehicle sales next to power tools?
November 3, 2006 at 4:44 pm #92467"deepsIush " wrote:You take popped popcorn and add syrups, butters and sugars……and salsa, cause that’s the best popcorn. Is it really good? I say you make me some and send it to me for christmas. And I’ll send you a pink taco.
Quote:Yeah. It was an 87 Grocery Getter, very grandpa. I broke the gear shift housing the first night I drove it. You know? Under the gear shift there is a little platform with a pin in it that keeps the stick in place so it can suck air thru the carberator. I had to drive 10 miles in first gear. I like to never make it out of my driveway.I just going to pretend I know what you’re talking about.
Quote:Does anyone watch Even Stevens? Is this a trap?

Presents in the mail are magical. I got a halloween package from a friend loaded with kit kats and a special note and some halloween socks!

Quote:Yeah, no, i think they’re funny.Okay, I’ve seen the show. Like I said before I have one tv channel and this used to come on on saturday mornings. Do you remember the one where he became a mascot just to impress the teacher and she ended up have a unibrow?
November 4, 2006 at 6:06 am #92469Last night I watched Feast. Seeing Henry Rollins in pink sweat pants made the movie…that and the monsters doing it doggy style.

Suddenly Last Summer, one of my all times favs. Elizabeth Taylor, Katherine Hepburn & Montgomery Clift.
Love that completely insane garden at Hepburns place, Elizabeth Taylor can scream with the best of them!!! Definitely recommend the film…
Quote:In this lush, lurid adaptation of the 1957 Tennessee Williams one-act, Elizabeth Taylor and Katharine Hepburn play a seemingly insane, young New Orleans debutante and the wealthy aunt who wants to lobotomize her. Dr. John Cukrowicz (Montgomery Clift) is a gifted Chicago brain surgeon stymied by the primitive operating conditions at the New Orleans asylum where he works. Society matron Violet Venable (Hepburn) offers a solution in the form of a million-dollar grant — as long as Cukrowicz will treat her niece, Catherine (Taylor). Catherine, it seems, has been institutionalized since the sudden death of her cousin, Violet’s son, Sebastian, overseas the previous summer. As the young doctor tries to get to the bottom of what happened to Catherine, Violet’s steely demeanor and devotion to Sebastian present a formidable barrier. Catherine herself doesn’t offer much help, her recollections jumbled by medication and the trauma of Sebastian’s demise.November 6, 2006 at 1:45 pm #92472i didn’t just watch it but i saw saw 3 on saturday..what can i say except that it was better than saw 2
November 6, 2006 at 1:57 pm #92473I was thinking about seeing that this weekend, is it ALOT better than saw 2 because the only word that comes to mind with that film is shit.
