Lessons I Learned From This Movie:

Caves are perfect for social gatherings.
Lightning causes some really weird stuff to happen.
Space gorillas love bubbles.
Rather than calling attention to your location, a forcefield made of copper wires arcing electricity makes you invisible to scanners.
Lumpy women should not wear tight, backless halter tops.
Antibodies will protect you from cosmic rays.
Don’t stick your tongue out at Ro-Man.
Whenever danger threatens women should be picked up and carried away from it.
Kissing a girl’s forehead will drive her wild.

Wait a minute…it really doesn’t? I like when a boy turns his head and kisses me on the bridge of the nose, especially when you’re lying in bed face to face. Now I’m completely off topic so I’m going to steer my way back to space gorillas and their love of bubbles. Another Girl, where did you find this movie? And when you go out and buy your bubble machine, can I play with it?

Last night I watched a delightful little film called Die Nacht Der Lebenden Loser or Night Of The Living Dorks. I laughed a lot.

if I had 2500 bucks, this would be my bubble machine…

I love bubbles! I have a bottle of bubbles I keep in the shower. It’s a great place to blow bubbles because you can just wash off the soap when your done. Plus it entertains friends. ;) There is also this museum not far from here that has an entire section dedicated to the magic and wonder that is bubbles. I love going there. Technically it’s a science museum for kids but that doesn’t stop me. I mean, you can take a hula hoop, put it in soapy solution and make a bubble that you can lift over your head and bring down around your body! How cool is that?!

The other day I watched this show called Acceptable TV. Too, too funny. It’s a show that is made up of 5 or so mini shows. One of them was called Cirque Du Soleil: Sex Crime Investigation. I laughed and laughed and held my sides because I laughed so hard they hurt.

Two free popcorn thursday films, skipped this week to catch up with you crazy kids, two weeks ago was the Number 23, which was fun, not really a great film but it kept me entertained and i liked the ideas behind it a bit. Last week was Reign Over Me, which was a better over all film, funny both had comedic actors in serious roles, I dug Reign Over Me for its emotion and humor within the seriousness, but it was good which shoked me becasue i was only there for the free popcorn.

Also just watched some tv, New seasons of Entorage and the Sorpranos are off and seem like fun, South Park has been killing this season the easter expose was not to be missed, the simpsons is also going well but they have been repeats latley. That’s all the tv sans sports but the Orioles are never on, the nba playoffs are right around the corner so watch out my mind can’t handle much tv and i’ve cut down to barely nothing only the above but playoff time means trouble usually…

American Hardcore.

Vic Bondi’s still one angry motherfucker. All the rest of the dudes, even the hard, previously violent motherfuckers like Harley Flanagan, HR, and Jack Grisham are all chilled out. But the one guy who becomes a history professor is still full of piss and vinegar. God bless ‘im!

…free popcorn thursday led me to In the Land of Women, and it was actually a good time, that is if you like melodramtic romantic wanna be tear jerkers but only really good for a few laughs via skewed pop culture refrences and assorted maddness, but i love the theatre expirence and have only walked out on two movies in my day and only hated one other that i saw in the theatre so finding redeming qualities seems to be my strongpoint…

This screenplay adaptation of P.D. James’s novel is excellent. The future is scary, kids.

Pan’s Labyrinth. Yes, not a children’s story. Hid under the covers a few times.
