yes, the music + the images went together so well … it’s hard to put into words how much i loved this movie, but i guess you could say it really touched a chord w/me  …

but, i think it’s only a movie for our generation, b/c my parents + in-laws + other older friends + relatives didn’t like it at all … :o

Saw Kill Bill vol 2 yesterday, it was ok, nothing special though :? Elle did wear a great suit when she had that problem with here eye though :P

Really think the show suffered being split in two, with some editing, it could & should have been shown as a whole film! Loved vol 1, fingers cross they release a special full length edition on DVD :!:

Just saw on BBC2 tonight ‘Richard Thompson: Solitary life’, a fine portrait(narrated by John Peel) of this great singer-songwriter 8)

Shrek2. nice & colourful & highly animated etc. etc.
but I don’t feel like I have seen the greatest movie ever :?

I think i was one of the few out there that didn’t really enjoy Shrek 1, i hear however that Shrek 2 is bigger faster and stronger and if he met Shrek 2 in a dark alley he would show him who’s tougher than leather…

on a serious note, i fell asleep during a movie called Rogue Trader, it was fun or at least funny and i was waiting for the downfall of Ewan McGregor’s character and then i woke up and some cartoon not riddled with pop culture refrences was on the tele. That’s my problem with Shrek i think, i want my fantasy films to be free of refrences to reality tv and professional wrestling.

Oh Maria Shaparova beat Serena to a pulp and it was quite enjoyable to watch, even being a big Williams fan. Watching kids go for it big time and pound champions into the mat is great excitment; already forgot who won the men’s side, oh that Federer guy, I’m not a big Roddick fan so i cared a little less about waking up early for breakfast at Wimbilton, or however you spell it, in conclusion, don’t see spiderman too, he is the end of hope for quality cinema

hehe, I thought Shrek 1 was nice and Shrek 2 was also nice. but just that: nice. no candidates to climb into my alltimes greatest list, actually.
I’m already "booked" to see Spiderman 2 on one of the next days, so I’ll see what happens there. I don’t expect anything from it, and according to a common theory, I can’t be disappointed, then
well, in fact I expect some nice entertainment so it would be a bummer if it turns out to be a waste of time.

nope, no kim skinhead … … i think if i was living in a v.remote part of the countryside – or maybe my v.own desert island i’d chop my hair off just to see what it would look like !! probably scary … then i wonder how long it would take to grow back to the length i have now … probably years !! plus, i wonder what my real hair colour is ? it gets so faded by the sun + the chlorine, i wonder …

…a birthday dollar theatre double feature; Kill Bill vol. 2 and Van Hellsing. Kill Bill finished up with moments of fun filled excitement, but i can’t give my overall approval to the epic. Two stars at best. COuldn’t get over the blood squirting of one or the, heck i love Tarrentino films, i probably even love these movies, just can’t be sure, i guess they are good, maybe i need to see them in my home, starting to weary of the threatre expirence, maybe that’s just being in public. Oh, Van Helsing was horrible, just as i thought, needed and demanded. Parts did look cool but man oh man was it horrid, my mind was racing my body out the door as the credits just wouldn’t start up. There is nothing like intentionally going to a bad movie to kill time on a bad day true calendar way…

well, i would have seen highlights from the recent download festival (feat. the reformed stooges), if they hadn’t put it on in the middle of the night !!!!! :slap:

Spider-Man 2 …this movie surprised me a lot. it surprised me how much I liked it :)
because generally, I’m not that much into that kind of cartoon stories, but in this case, with all the fantasy and kitsch and action elements, altogether it came out as a very good story, and it felt almost "real" … Spidey as the guy next door with a big bunch of everyday problems :| :P
The story works because it is told excellently (other than, say, in the horrible Martix II).

Yeah, probably one of the worst, and most disappointing, motionpicture shows I’ve ever seen :!:

underworld … kate beckinsale was pretty good, but it wasn’t that great a movie overall … also, i just couldn’t take bill nighy seriously as a vampire elder (or whatever the heck he was called) … maybe the casting could have been better ?
