Cool, I love gadgets!
I just hope VG was doing the driving while you were watching the movie
September 28, 2004 at 3:56 pm #92311…Drumline.
Been meaning to watch this for a while. Love college/school movies in general, the marching band at my school wasn’t nearly as cool as this one, as the movie in my eyes can’t match the drama here. Not that it was a great film, but it was fun and i like to have fun watching movies. Drums are great…
October 3, 2004 at 2:20 am #92312…Auto Focus.
This was about the guy from Hogan’s Heros, which i have never really scene. Watched this film out of bordem, but it did the trick i guess. Fast paced hollywoood romp, quite literally…fun i guess…
October 7, 2004 at 3:31 am #92313…double feature thanks to excellent timing and the ever growing desire to sleep only in the daylight. First was Anything Else, Woody Allen feature that is that anything else or at least anything Woody Allen has done, but if you like his shtick then it is worth a look. It’s the asides that get me sometimes but all is well most of the time…second was Matchstick Men, once again a conartist movie, why isn’t that a leading genre, there are so many fun times to be had, plot twists that turn your stomache almost, wowee zowee i love these crazy movies, wish i didn’t have a conscience and liked talking to people, con artist seems like the right deal to me…
October 11, 2004 at 3:05 am #92314…Henry Fool. A movie about poetry, or at least a poet, much more but that isn’t something you get to say much, good story i guess, darker but not completely bleak in an upsetting way so yes enjoyable, quite in fact, i think…
October 13, 2004 at 3:04 am #92315…the Recurit, starring Al Pacino amongst others, it seemed to me to be a straightforward action flick, then it turned the corner, then it seemed to find a new gear, but then again it might be really cheesy, i can’t tell, but i enjoyed my near two hours spent. Spies lies and beautiful thighs, show me the way to the CIA. Actually i enjoy being a ghost on my own time…
October 19, 2004 at 2:58 am #92316…the Buisness of Strangers, starring Julia Stiles and Stockard Channing, basically the Big Kahuna, of Kevin Spacy fame, but fromt he female point of view and with more crazy stuff. Girls have more fun i guess. I like the idea of having a suit type job and flying around to boring hotels to make big deals and drink scotch to wind down so it was fun in that way but slow moving like most buisness movies and the business world in general i’d gather but really have no clue so ok will do…
October 20, 2004 at 3:15 am #92317…the Matrix Reloaded. I remember going to the theatre twice that crazy summer to see the original and still not getting it entirely. Now seeing the second i think i have a pretty good grasp, as did after seeing the original on video, so much more magic in theatres, and i think it’s a cool story. Not perfect by any stretch of the means, but cool, plus i like dancing as a celebration of spirit and such scenes as cheesy as they look are fun to see live. I definitly will check out the final chapter when it comes around in my travels, but i doubt i’ll go out of my way for it as this installment was an accident as well, yet pleasing…
October 30, 2004 at 4:19 pm #92318Nightmare Before Christmas …I’m totally charmed by its tragic beauty
the german translation is irritating, though. I do have the original dvd, but I didn’t manage to run it on my pc… no patience so far to check region code etc.October 30, 2004 at 6:00 pm #92319Love that show, hope you checked out one of Tim Burtons shorts on that DVD Vincent. It’s part of the extras/early films, Vincent Price narrates
October 31, 2004 at 4:54 am #92320cool, that’s an extra motivation to take a closer look at that dvd

right now, I’m in the process of having my flat painted, so the dvd is sowhere in the pile of things in the middle of my room, but when everything is sorted again (hopefully soon), I’ll take another effort to get it running
November 3, 2004 at 12:47 pm #92321Good luck with that painting thing, I’m doing a couple rooms myself this month…

Just watched the coolest French gangster movie from the late 50’s Rififi
Definitely recommend checking it out, great heist scene, no dialogue for about 30 minutes, very cool scene, elaborately planned & performed robbery. Apparently the film was banned in Mexico due to criminals copying the heist process…
November 24, 2004 at 4:33 am #92322i’ve been boycotting alot of tv. Well not really, still guilty pleasures and all, but hte real good stuff is all talk now. I have no guilt in being a fan of the nba, but this fight garbage has robbed me of my fast paced gravity defying highlight fun and replaced it with rehashed arguement after arguement constant calling for a new opinion based on yet another day passing by. Why must this country debate every horid detail of any event that evokes a difference of opinion in blame. Is finger pointing so much fun. That whole desparte ratings football tease was just as bad. This video is shocking to people so we are going to talk about how bad it is as we show it for the thousandth time. I want to see dazzling dunks and trick passess, but i’m left with 25 mins of talking and 2 minutes of actual highlights. The day after was a bit understandable, but it’s been a while, get over it, show me highlights, i’ve gotten more enjoyment from the box scores in the paper. Numbers make sense, highlights make sense, opinions make me fall asleep, but not before the sun rises as i fear the night here in my cave…
December 1, 2004 at 2:10 am #92323…Masked and Anonymous starring the guy Bob Dylan as a rock and roll folk hero fresh out of a holding cell of sorts and thrust into the politcal mess of revolution fueled by media and the existing government alike. It is a bit of a mess, but so is war, which is the backdrop. Bob Dylan is cool by me and seeing him try not to be Bob Dylan while playing a role a great deal like Bob Dylan was fun. Plus all the big name cameos were a treat, Christian Slater, Val Kilmner, Fred Ward just to name a few. Plus Penelope Cruz played a likeable charachter which makes me like her for once which i never thought i’d see but have only really scene two or one film with her but she was so evil in that one being Blow got to go, oh watched Human Traffic as well awhile ago but couldn’t remember the name to type about it till now being it was on right after Masked and Anonymous, Human Traffic was about wasting away at day jobs to party/club on the weekends. I miss dancing and partying but will be there soon or at least eventually again, i hope but hte movie was fun(ny) to a point but a bit too corny not that that is wrong but just not magical, to me at least…
December 6, 2004 at 7:58 pm #92324Saw the Ramones documentary End of The Century awhile ago, very cool, also kinda depressing at times. Although, I may have to hunt down the local guy who called Dee Dee pathetic in his review…

Definitely recommend checking it out as soon as you can…
