      jus wonderin if anyone has the lyrics to the track If that’s how it’s gotta be. i have the track on the john peel sessions cd (i don’t know if it can be found anywhere else?) and its a pretty little tune. if anyone can help thatl be cool.

      ps. i worked out how to play it last night so if anyone wants the tab i could post it- if not i won’t.

          the song "If That’s How Its Gotta Be" is taken from ‘J Mascis & the Fog: Free So Free’, the second J & the Fog record, it came out in October 2002.

          Since then, J often played this beautiful song in his acoustic shows, also in the John Peel sessions :)
