      IGGY AND THE STOOGES
      EQUIPMENT STOLEN ON AUGUST 4, 2008
      OUTSIDE THE EMBASSY SUITES HOTEL
      208 SAINT ANTOINE OUEST,
      MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA

      all equipment was in a rented penske 15 foot yellow truck with u.s. (michigan) license plate number AC46493 and the theft had to have happened in the morning, between 6:30 and 7:30 am the truck was parked just outside the glass doors to the hotel directly visible from the reservations desk

        Holy shit. Someone stole Watt’s classic ’63 Gibson EB-3 bass. Not cool. I hope someone catches the fuckers who stole that stuff

                I’ve just read that the police in Canada have recovered the stolen truck that had all of their gear in it but all that was left in the truck was a few mic stands ….. :(

                  it’s gone and will never be recovered. Happened to Sonic Youth. Happened to Dinosaur. Happened to many other bands. None of it is ever found again.
