Thanks for the kind words. To be honest, I was a little scared to post a less then stellar review of Sonic Youth. I though I might offend some people.
The Stooges were impressive beyond words. I wouldn’t miss a future Stooges show in my area for anything in the world.
On a funny, unrelated side note, my mom told me that I pissed off my dad by going to the Stooges gig without him. He hasn’t spoke to me since the show!
Take care,

August 31, 2003 at 6:40 pm #94805Some reviews of the Stooges Detroit gig turn up on a quite unrelated webpage
(just click on the ‘Details’ to see which ‘Iggy’s’ is meant)

, the most interesting part of the rant is the bit about the commitment for a whole new Stooges album in 2004

October 26, 2004 at 6:06 pm #94812Cool Iggy article/interview fro ‘the Observer’
Quote:The world needs Iggy Pop to save it, not stupid politicians. I think we can persuade him to carry on. Let’s all buy his next record, and keep him around. Who’d want an Ig-free world?

Quote:Here’s your chance to have sent to your very own home a copy of the Iggy & the Stooges Live in Detroit DVD signed by Mr. Iggy Pop hisself. Any good self-respectin’ Stooge fan already has a copy, but not many have one graced with Iggy’s Stooge wrestling moniker (i.e.: the name his mother doesn’t call him).Iggy’s not the only one with a special Stooge name. All the guys had one. Can you match the real names with the Stooge names?
