Thanks Robert. I’m really starting to get the hang of this OS. I’m really liking it! The graphics are so much better than a Windows machine. Anyways thanks again.
January 16, 2007 at 9:59 am #124814Hey Robert, I downloaded a shareware file called Instant HandBrake. It was super easy to install and use. So now the Millenium Falcon can be seen flying on my iPod. Thanks again man, …. this rules!
January 16, 2007 at 2:12 pm #124815I’m glad it worked out ok, and that you’re happy with the switch from the dark side.
I know it’s been bought and incorporated into itunes, but I’d get this

if I were you. Coverflow in fullscreen mode, as it should be.January 16, 2007 at 3:00 pm #124816I have iTunes 7. It says that iTunes 7 already uses this. Is it something I need? Viewing the album covers in full screen would be cool, is that what this does? So I can’t already view them in full screen with iTunes 7 now?
January 16, 2007 at 3:04 pm #124817itunes has it, well -it sort of has it, the feature isn’t nearly as good in itunes. coverflow was initially a neat little program on its own. then apple bought it and made it so coverflow didn’t work on its own -you had to use the version in itunes. this sucked, because it doesn’t work half as good in itunes as it did on its own. so it didn’t take long until someone dug up an old version of coverflow and upgraded it so it’ll work without itunes.
instead of going on and on, as if I haven’t already done just that, no you won’t get to view and flip through the covers in fullscreen inside itunes. Get this nifty little thingy, I’ll almost guarantee you’ll love it. Honestly.January 16, 2007 at 3:05 pm #124818with the program installed you’ll get 100 % fullscreen view, as demonstrated below.

January 16, 2007 at 3:45 pm #124824Good question.
First you get this

and then you get peerguardian here
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15098″>http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15098the first application is called growl, it let’s you "temporarily allow," a site if you want/need to. I can’t say I’ve ever used the feature, but folks say it is a good thing.
January 16, 2007 at 3:52 pm #124825I got the peer gaudian one not sure about the Growl one though. I’ll leave it for now. I know where it’s at if I need it. Thanks Robert for all your help.
January 16, 2007 at 3:59 pm #124826No problem. Once my brain has gotten some sleep I’ll go through my files and see if there’s something else you could find useful. There probably is. Tons of great programs that makes life with an apple sweet.
January 16, 2007 at 4:12 pm #124827I appreciate it. Get some sleep.
