October 31, 2007 at 7:42 am #132404Einstein allegedly said: "If the bee disappears from the surface of the earth, man would have no more than four years to live. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man."
Whether Al said it or not, I tend to believe it.
October 31, 2007 at 8:35 am #132405On a positive note, we have two wild hives on our property that are thriving. They have all now gone into hibernation mode but these hives have been around for about five years now. We have some powerful swarms every May so for some reason, I believe that the wild bee is learning to adapt. These bee’s are very sweet, they will come and land on your arm and walk around my biggest fear is that they will mate with some African bee’s and turn hostile some day and then we will have to destroy them.
October 31, 2007 at 11:21 pm #132406I haven’t seen a bee in 17 years.

November 4, 2007 at 9:06 pm #132408Did they mention that bees won’t fly near cell phones because they hate the radio waves? We’re talking colony collapse, people.
November 5, 2007 at 5:30 pm #132409yes on the show i mentiooned they said that was a total rumor started by some guy in england with a "cordless" phone .

I like those giant bumble bees, let’s kill of the rest, and let them populate the earth.
