Another good one with Murph 🙂

We’ve learned to kind of see each other’s chemistry. The way J writes songs, he’ll say, “What can Murph and Lou play? What are they good at playing? What style? Is Murph better at swing?” If we were really good at hardcore, we might be writing more thrash songs together or whatever. But we have a chemistry and that determines the style

Awesome. I love the Murph interviews- they usually have the most interesting bits. I think his drumming has been great… Thanks for posting (as always) Jeremiah. Looking forward to this Friday’s show at The Majestic in Madison!!!! (my purple earplugs are ready!)

Murph being into jazz fusion makes sense to me.I can see where he got his drumming style from guys like Cobham.Return To Forever`s Romantic Warrior is pretty cheesy for most people but it does have some heavy drumming
