I understand where your coming from. I too prefer Frusciante’s solo work to the Chili Peppers stuff.

My fave Peppers album is Blood Sugar, followed by Californication. I like the fact that the bands sound has changed and evolved over the years. I rpefer that to a group that just does the same thing over and over again.

I think it’s cool that Dino is opening for the Peppers. They will get to play to a large crowd, and the Peppers were a very influential band. I would love to see J and John play at the same show.

I’m with you 100%. Frusciante is one of my favorite guitar players next to J and Ace Frehely. I do think Anthony has no talent, but Flea can play bass with the best of them and Chad Smith aint a bad drummer either.

The thing I love most about Freakscene(beside Dino being my all time favorite band) is that people actually diagree/ debate on this site without just insulting each other. Everyone is always cool to each other on Freakscene. Some here like the old chili peppers, some of us like the more recent stuff, but nobdoy has insulted anyone.

The Chili Peppers are really bad nowadays (aka Stadium Arcadium… complete rubbish). I like their older more punk/funk stuff better. But whatever, they are like one of the biggest bands in the world right now and it is cool for Dino to get more exposure.

I have only seen the first one which i thought was funny, but drugs can really fuck shit up. I have seen it personally and it really sucks. so half of me wants to laugh but the other half is kinda thinking that that is childish and stupid. and then again Iam drunk right now so what am i talking about.
