Go buy Big Gulps and Slurpees to celebrate!

Also, I’ve done so bargaining, so if today you tell the cashier you’re from freakscene, you get three chocolate chip cookies for only 99 cents (american). You can all shower me with tender affections later.

I’ve never actually been to a 7-11. I don’t even know if I’ve ever seen one. But they sound so…sugary. Maybe I’ll hunt one down, to celebrate recently learning that I have no cavities.

I don’t like 7-11, to pricey. We have Quick Trips around here, which are pretty much killing off other brands of convienince store.

think the 7-11 in my area closed when I was 12.

I miss the slurpie headaches!

I love slurpees, am currently surrounded by 7-11’s where I live, 3 within ten blocks . Think we actually hold some kind of record slurpee consumption deal in this province, even at -40c people just have to have a frozen drink. They are talking about having sugar-free slurpees which sounds cool to me, my fav is classic coke…just something pleasing about cold caffeine

Those slurpee headaches though

hey Rosa, if you really want to go to a 711, there’s one on Taraval. They’re all over, really, but there is nothing great about them.

Hey br,

That’s so funny; my cat’s vet is on Taraval. Did you live in the sunset district when you were here?

About the 7-11; after I made that last post, I remembered that there is one on Mission Street, in a somewhat shady neighborhood, next to Taco Bell. I can totally find my way around SF by the locations of Taco Bells and Walgreens, haha.

So yeah, I guess I lied. I still haven’t been to one, but I’ve SEEN one from afar.

Everyone talks so much about slurpees, they seem like an American staple. Maybe I should trek down to the Mission, in the daytime.

xo

p.s. do slurpees come in different flavors, or what?

Yes to flavors.
recent list:
Pepsi, mountain dew, blue-berry, cherry, vanilla coke

They also have a slurp-gulp thing now where you mix soda with the slurpee for extra cost of course

not a soft-serve substitute but might meet you halfway, ok so its not a sherbert, lynch me

Hey Rosa,

Other flavours…blue rasberry, orange, lime, dr pepper, grape, grapefruit, bubblegum, cream soda, pepsi, 7up, mountain dew…and some I can’t remember Be careful of the blue rasberry though, turns your whole mouth blue…lips, gums, tongue, everything Quite the fashion statement

I prefer frozen coffee beverages but Hey!

Allison

convenience stores generally suck but what can you do they exist. Kinda cool though to make a slurpee run at 0400, one a couple blocks from where Iwork

rosa– yes, i lived at 18th and taraval, right next to the safeway. if your cat’s vet is the one that specializes in cats, i know where that is–though there is one right across from safeway too. i think the 711 is down between 25th and 30th or so (past the walgreens ). mission street is pretty ghetto, especially after dark. taraval is much safer!

Just came across a new flavour…Skeeter Juice We have wicked blood sucking vampire like bugs, apparently this is supposed to help you avoid the bites…yeah right At least its not malathion based…city is fogging with that tonite in an attempt to make it so we don’t have to drink those slurpees

Sticking to coke myself…but the throat freeze is killing me!

Allison,

Are you trying to tell me the national healthcare program has co-opted 7-11 there? Dang yee!

Also, what is malathion?

Thanks… for all.

Tom
