                as promised;
                Camper Van Beethoven-Cigarettes and Carrot Juice
                Beat Happening-You Turn me On

                I’ll find a good home for Beat Happening, it deserves better company than Rick Astley, Tripping Daisy, Soul Assylum, and the Boo Radleys.

                Also got to puzzle over the fact that the store (one of the local "Indie snob" stores) had NOTHING by Fugazi, Daniel Johnston, or Yo La Tengo. . . NOTHING! What gives

                    Did this test in my favourite store:

                    Fugazi: 7 cd’s
                    Yo la Tengo 7 cd’s / 6 cd-singles/ep’s
                    Daniel Johnston: 7 cd’s + 2 DJ / Jad Fair cd’s

                    8)

                    ……I only checked the cd section, they also have a huge vinyl section upstairs, will check that tomorrow….

                      The record stores here would have the most recent album by Fugazi and YLT and no Daniel Johnston
                      The used stores might have some Fugazi and YLT,actually I got most of my Fugazi albums in used stores.I don`t remember seeing ever any Daniel Johnston cd`s ever except that major label album he did about 10 years ago.I did find Kathy McCarty covering Daniel`s songs on a album called A Dead Dog`s Eyeball on Bar/None records,good album.

                        tower would have half of the matador stuff around here. at least. my sister lives in hoboken, btw. awesome little town.

                        everywhere has everything by fugazi here. saw ian behind the board at thursday’s sleater-kinney show in dc.

                        never looked for daniel johnston
