yeah, enjoy the holidays! 4 weeks in a row is kind of luxury indeed :)

I bought: Nikki Sudden – Treasure Island, his new record. I actually bought it in May from his site, but the sent out copies got lost on the mailing route, so yesterday finally I received a signed copy :)

Thanks! 4 weeks off is just perfect: one week to recover from nearly a year of hard work   , then off to Switzerland for a couple of weeks doing all kinds of things that get you tired again (mountainbiking, walking & snowboarding etc.), then it’s just great to have a couple of days more to really relax… 8)

          back to topic:

I read a review somewhere a couple of months ago telling about this cool Finnish guy playing very cool instrumental dub/reggae in the best Augustus Pablo/Lee Perry tradition, so I noted his name on the wishlist inside my head, couldn’t find the album anywhere, nobody had heard of it :? , it wasn’t in the computersystems of the shops  , even amazon.com said it was no longer available…. So, yesterday afternoon I walked into my favourite recordshop, and the guy behind the counter said that he had a surprise for me, and the he held up the Lightman cd…. 8)

It’s great, cool stuff indeed, long live Finnish dub!

Bucky: Cool that you found it. His music is quite rare here too. I have not seen his albums in more than maybe one or two recordstores in Finland.
He is quite creative because he films his own skateboarding, makes music to it and edits it.. :D
