          thanks for the offer — wish i could pop round … but you’re somewhere in e.europe, right? ! !

          well … i much prefer the fall + winter to spring + summer … so i’m praying for cooler weather!

          my flat is well insulated + it’s just soooo hot in here … it’s really getting on my nerves now … :- and then you go outside + it’s just far too hot out there too …

          i do have AC at work though … thank god … :)

          i’m not an expert on global warming or anything … not done any studies or any of that ;) … but i do know that the weather patterns here (london) and where i grew up (maryland) are definitely not what they used to be … and that’s weird … i’m thinking the animals and the plants must be confused !! :o ???

                  might be a bit difficult … i live in a flat … on the second floor … no balcony to speak of …

                  although there is a communal garden out back … hmmmm :D

                            Yeah back to topic ;-)

                            It is still hot here and tomorrow even more hot. And this idiot is starting a small fiveday cycle holiday with two of my friends. Two big events are cancelled because of the heat ( dutchies are softies as you know) but this one will go on.
                            everyday about 110 – 130 km. The most difficult part is the eveningsession without a bike but with lots of beer and hanging out late in bars and clubs… :o ::)… correction: the harderst part is the next morning with a hangover and another 130 to go….

                            For the geo’s, this is the route: Amsterdam – Sneek / Sneek – Westerborck / Westerborck – Doetinchem / Doetinchem – Tilburg / Tilburg – Amsterdam

                              I was at a bike race the other day. I was wearing a Dino t-shirt and one of the guys in the race actually saw me and yelled "Dinosaur Jr!!!" I was like "yeah!!!". I guess it could’ve been disastrous …it was pretty funny :)

                                  That sounds like something my husband and I would do.. We are always shocked to see anyone in our area (rural West Tennessee) or anywhere for that matter with a dino shirt on.. It is especially nice to spot people on tv wearing one. Anybody catch the MTV True LIfe "I have OCD" ??? That guy wore a dino shirt..

                                  Oh, and it is way too hot.. :)
