      Yesterday I went to the Doornroosje gig in Nijmegen. It was great, off course. About 30 minutes before the show he was already playing on his guitar backstage. You could see because the curtain wasn’t long enough. Very cool!

      During the show I was standing first row and I was trying to take some pictures. It was my first time, so hopefully they will turn out to be ok. After the show J walked through the crowd and gave some signatures. He didn’t even bother to get on a picture with me, my brother and some other guys! Too bad there wasn’t enough light when my brother took the picture with me and J <img>
      Hopefully the other pictures are good. I put J (well, I asked off course <img> ) and the other guys to get a bit more in the light ("there is more light" I tried to convince him) and then my camera did what it’s supposed to do: take pictures!

      When we went home guess who was leaving at the same time? J! I was surprised that he was there with only another guy who carried two guitars and another woman. That’s all! Very great to see rock stars <img> don’t always travel in big vans with a lot of people who carry all the stuff: J was doing that himself!

      To conclude: it was great! I met my idol, took pictures and shook his hand. From now on my guitar playing will never be the same <img>

        Anyway… thanks for the review. <img> Did he happen to play "Free so Free"? So far, it seems like that song has been kept off the set list, and I’m really hoping to hear it when he plays Edinburgh next week.

          Unfortunately he did not play Free so Free, one of the best songs from the new Album. Maybe he’s reading this and is convinced by you <img>

            i will see him on friday in paris and i am really excited!
            i hope i’ll be able to talk to him, give him a gift and take a pic with him <img>
