j full page tribute in the big cheese mag

i didn’t buy this mag, but i just flipped thru it in borders …

the tribute can be found on the last page of the mag …

they’ve used the same small pic in april’s mojo (the one where j’s wearing the deep wound sweater), but cropped out lou and murph, + enlarged j …

the tribute mentions the reissues, but is notably a tribute to j and not to dinosaur jr

it’s fairly lengthy blurb + rambles on about all the reasons why j’s so great … which i guess is why i didn’t buy it …

1. i already know he’s great
2. i have all my own reasons why
and 3. i already have a better version of the pic

and i just remembered why i picked it up in the 1st place … for the dwarves article …

anyone seen them before ? they are playing here this weekend + i’m undecided on whether or not i should go …

they scared the crap out of me when I saw them. they’re no. 2 on my all time scariest shit seen on a stage list.

BUT, they play nice & fun hardcore(if such a thing exists,) so I’d definetely go if I were you!

so i went to borders in downtown sf. and they never heard of this magazine.
which issue#/month is it?
maybe i can find it somewhere else.

further to that, on the website homepage there’s a link where you can buy the mag for $9 thru paypal …
