yeah I actually had a picture taken with him but my friend fucked it up some how and all i got was the negative of J and half of my face,
it was pretty shitty, ive always wanted a picture of J and I to hang on my mantle
oh dear, sorry to hear the J & Rich pic didn’t come out good
so hopefully you’ll catch another J show soon and have a good one taken!yeah im waiting for him to come back to maxwell’s maybe i can try to score a interview with him, ill just tell him its for mysite, and freakscene. Ill get a list of questions from freakscene members, and go to town, Im think i want to be a journalist so i might as well start somewhere
good idea … on the job work experience …
you can still get that pic printed up, the other 1/2 wil be black, but that could be cool + it wouldn’t be that expensive to get a reprint … btw, from experience – take at least 2 pics of important stuff .. preferably not at the beginning or end of the roll – especially if you are doing the developing youself …
anyhow … you’ll have to let us know if/when you get the oppotunity for another pic +/or the interview …
I would be happy to let you know, and i may have to use my connections here at freakscene to score the interview, J doesnt seem like the type that would just do one for a complete stranger in the audience,
I dont know if anyone here as been to maxwell’s in hoboken, well for the performer to get off stage, he has to walk through the crowd, its such a small shit hole, but it really adds to the intimacy of everything
as for the negative of the film, im gonna have to go through the junk drawer and try to pull it out, even have a pic of J and I is better than no pic
no, i’ve never been there, but maybe j’ll play there when i’m in the nyc area over xmas … hint, hint ! :aliensmile: … well, it’s worth a try, right ?
yeah … i used to think damaged pix were bad, but now i think they’re cool … i remember one time at university when i was taking a photojournalism class, i was using roll-your-own film to keep the costs down … anyhow … to make a long story short … a few friends + i went on a road trip to the beach etc + somehow i got sand on the film + there were 2 big scratches down each neg … i was really bummed about this fact, but one of my friends – who is now an artist – was like, "hey, it looks cool that way." …
so yeah … fined your "damaged" neg + get it printed up … it would be cool to see …
maybe we should appointed someone to organize it, im no good with stuff like that, Ill throw a party at my house though im right out side the city
