I happen to see if there was any music news and saw an ad banner for J’s webcast!
I guess the show is at Londons Camden Underground.
Hope you get this before it happens. I dunno how good they are about archiving these shows.

– Homer SimpsonAh, you beat me to it. I came to the site to tell everyone about ASFRecorder. I’ve also successfully used ASFRecorder to download the 300kbps version of the gig. It’s over 100MB in size.
I’m now trying to find some way of creating a VideoCD format disc to play on my DVD player.

no save window comes up for me either. When I try to do it in DOS it says something about the audio.

1 – go to the webcast .
2 – right click on the link for the 300k/DSL Windows Media Stream

Note this is a graphic and not a link so clicking on this will result in people laughing at you [img]http://www.freakscene.net/ubb/smile.gif[/img]3 – Select the ‘Copy Shortcut’ Option
[img]http://www.freakscene.net/ubb/asf/asf_copyshortcut.jpg[/img]4 – On your afsrecorder select ‘File/Open URL’
[img]http://www.freakscene.net/ubb/asf/asf_openurl.jpg[/img]5 – Paste the address into the ‘Open URL’ box then select OK
[img]http://www.freakscene.net/ubb/asf/asf_open-url.jpg[/img]6 – At this point you will receive 1 of two different results.
A) Successfull ‘Save As’ box. If you get this you’re in!

Hi everyone. I downloaded the Asf recorder thing to record the London J webcast, but i keep getting the message CONREFUSED, does this mean i won’t be able to download it? I hope not, i went to that gig and it was ace, loads of old classics (amazing version of the Wagon). Any advice would be most appreciated. 1 other thing what is a ‘firewall’? (Please excuse my computer ignorance!!)
